Starting for Walsall away at Chesterfield in their playoff first leg.
Move for the penalty started with Asiimwe making a move down the right flank as well - He's actually going to be my outlandish prediction to replace Small if we stay in League One.
I was thinking a replacement on the bench for Watson. Although, with Ramsey covering defensively, there could be worse options
  • I would have him learning from Ramsay - has the physical attributes that could shine in the RCB out of possession, RWB in position, given time.
  • Lots of potential,  still learning. Got badly caught out ball-watching atvthe weekend, bailed out by an excellent save by their keeper
  • Starts the second leg for Walsall tonight... Just put in a cross that resulted in a corner

Looks a touch more agile to me
Great loan move for him this

Holden sticking him in our side was nonsense.

He was always agile but wasn’t ready defensively .  Maybe still isn’t but as you say, it’s a great loan
  • I can't see Asiimwe playing much in the Championship next season, so if we both go up, a loan to Walsall next season might suit all parties.
  • Hoping he’s a religious lad and not a Palace supporter…

  • He is very much religious alongside Karoy.

Did he post anything about us getting to Wembley? Can't remember seeing it.
  • What has Asimwe got wrong?
Has he declared that he supports Crystal Palace?
  • He should have just had a pic of Nathan saying his prayers at the end of the play off match, did he post that at all

Along with Jones; who seemed to have got a little bit of criticism for following his faith when he first joined.
  • Think it's symptomatic of young footballers these days, not their fault, just how it is -

    1. Proper loyalty and a run through brick wall mentality seems low on the ground.

    2. They wouldn't expect us to have any sort of rivalry with a Prem side, they just don't align the two.

I remember a couple of hours after another disastrous performance last season, one of our players posting a congratulations message on Insta to one of his mates who scored for another club. Wtf
  • "Victory belongs to Jesus".

What does that shit even mean? Have they etched his name on the cup?

He's getting pelters for that on Twitter. Massively unfair IMO but a bit silly from him in the first place. People saying he should never play for us again is insane though
Why is it silly if he is religious?

What if he is friends with Eze?

Still incredibly ignorant to share a celebratory post about Palace, he's been at Charlton since he was a young boy, he should understand the rivalry - really stupid thing to do
So I suppose you never celebrated a Rak-Sakyi goal too did you?
  • Thats just embarrassing...no problem with his faith or who he's mates with...but you play for Charlton you fucking div! If you want to congratulate your pal keep it in your WhatsApp group ffs.
  • It's naive from Nathan Asiimwe but so many of the black lads come from religious families and it's this which they adhere to with their constant reference to God and Jesus.

Asiimwe isn't thick per se, more that the 'ballers for God' is the team that these guys play for 24/7.

What happens if you have the same amount of religious players on both sides; does Jesus favour the one's who pray the most ?
  • Stupid post……he plays for Arsenal, not palace

Arsenal definitely needed Jesus rather than Sterling 😄
