Genuinely delighted.
I'll put my hands up and say I wasn't sure on him. The injury history concerned me, and I didn't think he was too impressive when he played last season, but he's been an absolute monster this season and quite literally everything I want from a centre back at Charlton. I genuinely think he might be the best we have had since we left the Prem, or there is at least a debate for it.
If I'm being greedy, I'd have like to see him sign a 3 or 4 year deal, but I am still happy he's staying for at least 2 more seasons.

Actually disagree with this. Announcing it at the game is good. Announcing it less than 10 mins before kick off meant a lot of people missed it. I meant on social media (should have made that clearer). There’s usually a lot of social media activity in the hour before a game so I think it got missed. Saw lots of people commenting in various places after the game that they had no idea he’d signedkillerandflash said:

Thing that stands out most from that is on it he is mentally. Doesn't seem to ever take a second out of the game, as soon as h'e completed one action he's thinking about the next0
