    His minutes shouldn't need managing?
    More like just making sure that something fairly minor remains minor. Sounds like a niggle or a bit of pain maybe and better that he sits it out now and is good to go at the business time rather than play him in a friendly, exacerbate it and suddenly he's out for a few weeks instead.
