Absolute gold but I don’t need this pressure on now we’re manager less and five days before the window shuts. Some communication wouldn’t go amiss either other wise we’re all going to get highly strung 😉.

I know people wanted Holden out (my missus and me were completely divided over the decision) but I am sick and tired of how we are run, we get crap owners after crap owners.
Why oh why, can we not just get a competent and able manager and back them to the hilt, and let them get on with it, rather than jobs for the boys, who don’t really care about our club, it’s just a job to them.
All this trying to be clever and cut corners doesn’t work, it’s working in a false economy.
We’ve had the wool pulled over our eyes so many times it’s exhausting.
Rant over for now, but Im blooming livid of how people can run this club so poorly, it’s really not good for your health.

Darren Ferguson turns down the chance to talk to us .. shows we are willing to pay compensation to get another manager … don’t think Ferguson will leave Peterbro again … he seen the grass is not greener elsewhere

That's my instinction
To Cut a Long Story Short , this needs sorting .
If only, we just seem to keep going round and round with crap owner after crap owner, mind you TS for all his faults gave us a lifeline 😉
Can’t believe Dean would have been sacked if any signings were still up in the air. Either there are none or they are already done deals or it’s a complete f##k up.

Of those options i'd be inclined to go with the latter. Especially if we made an approach for Ferguson AFTER sacking Holden.
Surely you'd sound out managers before doing it, so you'd have a seamless transition into the new manager, especially with only 4 days of the window left.
I do have mixed feelings about this. In general I feel manager's should have two years/ three windows to build their squads before the harsh judgement.
In some ways I didn't like the way he came in. In one of his first interviews he said he had attended our Micky Mouse Cup game at Plymouth. Therefore he was clearly in line to come in whilst Garner was in post. This makes me think Charlie probably has someone lined up. He who lives by the sword also dies by it.
I didn't go Saturday, but reading the team list and working out that our left back was playing in midfield made me question the tactics. His press conferences had started to remind me of Adkins or Robinson.
I think it was appropriately 4 weeks ago that we started to notice a change in Holden's interviews. Then some vagueness regarding injuries after being so clear and concise with information, previously.

So you are saying that is when he realised he was being lied to?

Someone (who isn’t a gossiper and I have no reason to doubt) tweeted they were told 3 weeks ago Ferguson would be our next manager.

Sounds like the Methven crew were overly confident they’d get Ferguson then. Quite embarrassing that he doesn’t even want to talk to Charlton.

Sums us up then if the SMT just assumed Ferguson would want to join us without actually asking him.

So that must be Dabo plus a couple of loans (Tedic still on the table?). Guessing three of Kirk, DJ, Payne and McGrandles out.

That happens in Jan, to pay for Methvens "Eton Pinkies" alumni crimbo party.

Sadly I think this was probably inevitable.
