I got a text about 2 hours ago saying he would be leaving tomorrow but from someone who has never got anything right so thought it was bollocks. Maybe it wasn’t

Shocking if true but was Saturdays selection of kids in the back three a reflection of his frustration ?  Was he promised funds that haven't materialised ?

When you say ‘all’ who are we referring to?

I'd assume Holden , Senda and Glyn Shinnell the GK coach

FFS, the cycle of bringing in a new manager, not supporting them in the transfer market and then sacking them continues it seems
Agreed. I don't know who would do better with the players we have. No good keep sacking the manager and not improving the squad

Cawley’s second tweet virtually confirms it for me, think there must have been rumblings before yesterday

Doesn’t matter who’s in charge when the squad is this thin with the transfer deadline less than a week away.
  • If it's true I just hope they've got someone good already lined up.

It will if we get Curbishley, Powell or Bowyer, plus half a dozen others that are free and know it's never a good idea to leave yourself with 1 or 0 defenders.

Agree to a point but he lost the plot on Saturday with his team selection and subsequent scrapping of it within 40 minutes despite having had a whole week on the training ground to get it right.

I’d be worried we might go for Lee Johnson given he’s worked with Methven before and left Hibs today

If it is the whole staff apart from Hayes do we have Hayes/Pearce interim or have they made an appointment? Will be hard to convince PL clubs to send us their players if we don’t have a manager

I have a feeling other managers wouldn’t have started with a 3-5-2 with 2 academy CB’s and a LWB who notoriously cannot defend at all (against a Liam Manning team) - all who had never really played across the back line together - whilst a someone who can play LWB was played in midfield.
