Whilst i may disagree with some of the posters here about unfair treatment, ability etc of Mitchell thats just largely down to the fact I know significantly more about football than most posters here and have more than likely a lot more inside knowledge about how football operates at a professional level based on personal experience and contacts of mine, that said i do agree in one thing.
There is completely no point to him being on loan at Hibs now, we need to recall him and in my opinion he has to go on loan to a top National League or league 2 side now where he should be guarenteed minutes. There is no point to him being on loan in the other side of the country if he isnt playing, as said stick him on loan to top national league side or league 2 team and if he isnt playing consistently at that level we need to address the question of why?0 -
If the clubs don't have an arrangement already for him not to play I think Charlton should be having a quiet word with Mitchell advising him he should maybe feel a twinge in a hamstring during training this week and not be available for the next month.1

Conspiracy theories aside, he's lost half a season of development football that he clearly needed, even if he returns for us in Jan I wouldnt expect too much from him tbh.2

When he was loaned to Hibernian it seemed like a very good idea at the time, but we assumed he would get minutes on the pitch.
I would bring him home at the end of December and keep him around. At the very least he can play U21 games, he has been shovelled around too much for the past 18 months. As a club we ought to wrap our arms around him.4 -
I highly doubt he can play u21 games as he’s registered at another club for nowjose said:When he was loaned to Hibernian it seemed like a very good idea at the time, but we assumed he would get minutes on the pitch.
