Think beating 19th and 23rd had people's expectations getting a little too high.
We're still probably a 8-12th level club than one fighting for anything higher.11 -
Work to do defensively, we can't blow every team out of the water, and our back 5 isn't good enough or consistent enough as a unit.1

Hartleypete said:shocking performance by so many, including the manager, we’ve got our Charlton back, didn’t take long.
Midfield is so weak defensively, the two wingers give no cover and can’t tackle may get away with that at home, not away.
Defensively all over the place.
Mid table mediocrity again I reckon, we don’t show enough bollocks away from home, just roll over and let them shag us.1 -
Into November with no away wins..0

Today we wen't back to looking like a soft touch. I hope it is a one off, but now I'm dreading Saturday and Tuesday.
Lincoln deserved their win.6 -
Piss poor performance and massive let down to our travelling fans. This team need to up their game on away matches and do it quickly.0

Such a soft team. Okay when they're on top but as soon as the boot is on the other foot too many of the players go into hiding.
The defence is dreadful and will hold us back until it is sorted.2 -

Let's be honest that is what a wing back looks like.
Overall a very disappointing performance from the whole team.
Appleton has now seen what we've been seeing for a while so this is where he earns his money starting on Saturday.1 -
Great timing for the open training session tomorrow. Oops.

Defence is simply not good enough. That will continually drag us down. Looking forward to my trip to Wigan next Tuesday.7

I hope Appleton tears into every which one of them for that performance. Scored early and immediately became complacent. Tried to coast along to a result.
Still too many without the desire to achieve. Age is probably the key factor for a couple of them.4 -
Incredible reactions tonight, unbeaten in six and we're heading for promotion. Lose one game and we're s***!

Every player except AMB were under par.....lets hope its a one off! 7 without defeat...one horrendous loss tonight.
Bounce back needed Saturday...end of!5 -
Appleton's got his meme face on tonight.

It was a foul on CBT though. Unbelievable the ref didn't see it but didn't affect the result.0

If Chucks is out long term , I think we need to back to using Miles an impact sub. Start will alfie in the middle of a front 3 and pan cam in the 10 role4

Appleton is very measured. Sounds like he’s given them a bollocking
I like him. Not bothered about soundbites11 -
Dobbo & Fraser doesn’t work as a pairing. Dobbo gets knackered doing Fraser’s running and becomes ineffective. Watson a better partner, Fraser in the 10 might work but he wouldn’t get much time to pick a pass14

that may well have been the case, but I hope you understand the point I am making.

We don't have enough physicality within the side. We take Chuks out and that's 50% of our physical side gone. We have young players who have to learn to stick their foot in and some of our players don't have it in them, we certainly need that in our centre forward, centre midfield and centre of defence.5

It was a good test tonight for where we are at, and we failed it thanks to our soft underbelly.7 -

Converse shades my little chumette2 -
Ref was good - and only his first season in the EFL if I understand correctly. Allowed the game to flow, kept his cards in his pocket and got the decisions mostly right.21
