Corner is cleared as far as TC who completely miskicks when he goes to shoot
  • OH cmon... take one of these chances lads.

Campbell threaded through out wide... His cross is spilled by their 'keeper and almost bounces over the lines, but blue shirts clear it.

    Addicks corner
  • Surprising it's still 0-0 as both teams look dangerous in attack

Playing Alfie as a 10 was an inspired decision Appleton. Not only is he getting his goals but he uses his work rate to link up play, pressure the midfield, and then make runs into the box from deeper

Corner taken short to CBT, he floats it in but Hector's flick on is cleared

Have to make the most of being on top.

Can just tell they'll slowly take this game over when the subs happen.
  • Good couple of interceptions from Edun these last few minutes

Louie pulling the strings and breaking them down in the final third. Needs to be a bit more tidy in possession in the middle third

  • Much better from us now
  • We're certainly taking control of the game

Jones the better CB, but both dealing well with Bishop - We've have the clearer chances

Anyone else's commentary about 10/15 seconds behind the game?
    Portsmouth TV is better

I’d like Robertson in our team
  • Ref blocks Hector's quick free kick. Doesn't book himself though.

Cmon referee hows that a foul from Leaburn

Its obstruction on Miles!! (Edge of their area, with them on the ball)

Good to see Leaburn being aggressive and using his size there. Shaughnessy blocking his way so he just grabbed him and threw him to the ground.

Strong challenge on L.Watson who stays down.

    Edit: Back up now

In the penalty area, always a get out for some reason...🤷‍♂️

  • Tactical play by #cafc has seen Edun - the left-back - pop up on the right-hand side of the pitch a couple of times. Has to be something Appleton has worked on because he is so, so far out of his natural position.

Never a foul anywhere on the pitch. Part of the game, play on. Having said that, good on Leaburn for reacting (without getting booked) to let their CB know he won’t have it all his own way

'Goodbye horse' getting an airing in the away end. Feel like I haven't heard that for ages.

We looked a bit ragged there after the break away was cut out.
  • Neat save from AMB after Paddy Lane cuts on his left foot and shoots straight at the Aussie

Lane cuts on from the Pompey right but shoots straight at AMB

    F/wood 2-0. Sarpong-Wiredu
  • We're letting Pompey pull us out of position a bit too easily these last few mins, with simple passing amongst their back line.
  • 1-0

Don’t tell Golfie that. He gets annoyed if there’s any less than 3 forwards in the match day squad,  and if all of them are not playing as a ‘striker’.
