  • Oh good foul there Edun... His own fault getting booked, but at least he had the sense to take one for the team.

Dont see him lasting the full game anyway
  • HT: Portsmouth 1-0 Charlton Athletic
  • Edun farts around with it, ending up getting booked and giving away a FK in a dangerous position

    HT 1-0.

Think we should feel hard done by to be behind, given the quality of the strike.

Biggest problem with this team week in week out is the problem here again.
So passive. Lack of urgency. Happy to coast through.

We've looked pretty shit since they scored
Two good teams going at it, separated by one quality volley. Pompey had the first 15, we had the next 15 and they’ve had this 15.

As the away side against top of the table you’ve got to expect periods of being under pressure
We’re certainly not good, more average tbh
  • HT 1-0, still second half to come and kicking towards the faithfull 2k+...no problem...
  • We look pretty good and unlucky to be one down.

Jones dealing with Bishop very well so far.

Not too disappointed with that half. We're still in this.
  • Shame to be behind, bit like the Barnsley game @ Oakwell a few years back, when they beat us solely because of two wonder strikes.

More importantly the Tumble Dryer has been changed over with smoothness and precision, meaning the missus will never know I only did it minutes ago, rather than when it should have been changed earlier.

Another day, May’s strike goes in the bottom corner, that volley sails over the stand and we’re in at half time 1 nil up.

We’re certainly in the game and doing better than I expected before the game started. Still every chance of taking point(s) today.

Got to get CBT into the game
  • I think we're a bit unlucky to be a goal down.

Neither Campbell or Blackett-Taylor- particularly the latter - not really involved. If we can get them in the game there's hope.

Important we don't concede early, at one nil with the game getting stretched, Fraser coming on may give us an extra attacking edge.

Can't see how CBT gets singled out, when Edun is on the pitch.

As others have said, we've played pretty well and didn't test Norris enough. We're too sloppy in the middle of the park and we look worse when we resort to long balls toward the wingers and much better when we try to play through them.

Tayo Edun is a chaos agent.

(Goal) down but not out. Can still get something from it. This is (sadly) precisely the kind of situation that we could use with unleashing Chuks "The Cheat Code" Aneke to turn it in out favour.

Over to Appleton to see if he can pull off another 2nd half turnaround.

Can't be too upset with the goal but we do seem to clear every corner and cross to the edge of the area / D at the moment, doesn't help things.

Long injury delay. Sadly our former player Brandon Hanlan
  • Entertaining game. We are still in it.

Pompey commentators amazed that May is on Raggert for corners
  • I have zero confidence that we’ll get back in this.

Addicks back out. No changes at the break.
