First time in charge on the touchline since 2012 with They-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named
Whether he took charge of a game with them, seeing he was in the role for just a week as Caretaker remains to be seen, if not then his last game would have been with Cardiff in 2005.
Maybe he has kept his flat in Newport to rent out and has a holiday bolt hole or bedsit in Grimsby. Doubt he can ever get back to Sutton with prices as they now are.

Or Petts Wood where he lived when he managed us way back.
I sent Lennie a letter when he joined Middlesbrough, thanking him for all the good times at Charlton. He was kind enough to write back, saying that he was leaving us in the safe hands of a certain Gritt and Curbishley. I wasn't entirely convinced at the time if I'm honest, but how right he was!!
Post game comments included the classic " when Charlton last got a penalty Jesus was still a carpenter" Highbury encounter goodness knows when - all his teams played such intelligence football
Indeed he's had a very nomadic career, whether as a manager, coach or advisor, and seem happy to go anywhere in the country.
Goes to show he's widely respected. Just a shame he could no have come back to us in some capacity years ago. The boat may have not been rocking so much.
Up there - in my CAFC supporting lifetime (I’m born 1970, so a long time after Jimmy Seed) Lennie is alongside - yes alongside - as our greatest manager, with Curbs
Those, like me, who were there for the Lennie years - how the hell we stayed in Div 1, let alone went up in the first place - AMAZING TIMES
Utter legend
If Curbs gets a stand named after him whilst he is alive, then the West Stand needs to be renamed the ‘Lennie Lawrence Stand’
What he achieved was incredible - I loved those times - yeah we were at Shithurst, but little old Charlton - we were the Flyweight battling Heavyweights - and bloody hell, we fought fucking hard

He did until storm Henk blew his house north east over the weekend.

All the best Lennie
Gotta do a better job than Frazer
My mate had a chat with Roy Hodgson at a do. Hodgson is a very close friend of Lennie’s and said that he’d moved up north.
