“We’re winning lots of games”.  Err, am I missing something?

“This is not how we play”.  Err, yes it is mate!   “It won’t happen again”. You’ve just made your bed you clown!
  • “At the moment we are winning all the cup games “ 😂😂😂

Of course we are because we are playing National League and League Two reserve sides

He really does spout some nonsense and crap

That was the most concerning press conference yet. I struggled to continue to watch after two minutes. Swap the wins in the cup? Under 21 teams, Bromley, Cambridge and Walsall. This is worrying.

How about change the approach and try and play football.. just an idea
  • It's all coming to a head, I can't see him being around much longer. The next few games are going to be a depressing watch though.

It's certainly been painful and watching us does make me feel particularly upset and grumpy lately...

Anyone got some chocolate and a hot water bottle handy?

He’s heading full on into laughing stock mode. Just as he did in his previous two gigs.

Agree with most that he is clutching at straws now. He needs to change things and stop the anti football approach or he will be gone soon. Shite performances will see crowds fall the owners won’t want that to continue

In the interview he said 'it won't happen again', but I am not sure what thing he means won't happen again.

Deluded. We haven't played well all season. Crawley wasn't a one off, an exception. He has convinced himself that because we beat Walsall Reserves 4-0 his long ball game is working. Please sack him before the window opens.

They need to act now. Why wait? Move quickly and there’s a chance for the new guy to at least get somrthing done in the window. If the’d moved quicker last year ironIcally the whole Dobbo saga could have been avoided, although then again, he’d have pissed off Alfie  May by New Years Day, so there’s that.

But there’s no way back, is there? We can all see it, we’ve seen it all before, too many times in the last 18 years.
  • No excuses, 3 pints against Lincoln please.

“We're so close to being a good side"

Pull the other one fs. A good side doesn't ping diagonal long balls all game

he's right Brighton and Arsenal aren't too far away.

I couldn't include Palace under any conscience, even though they are only 11 miles, and a couple of bus rides away.

    Nathan Jones
  • Did he say that wont happen again, Did he not say the same against Bristol Rovers after we where 3-0 down if I recall correctly.

Would swap the cup wins.. What against reserve league 2 sides? Even Bromley made a ton of changes.

Draw's are no longer useful, if we do not win at Lincoln he needs to go.

While the management is not the sole cause to the position we find ourselves in (Yes Andy Scott) The football we are playing is the worst I have ever seen in my whole life of supporting Charlton.

Even Apples played better football when we was losing every game in the last minute and that is saying something.

    Parallel universe he's living in.
Starting to regret going to Lincoln on Sat.
Hope the anticipated bad weather is a leveller, but judging by Tuesday's showing will need a bloody miracle.
