    Counter!

Northampton free kick (soft one) comes to nothing, may picks it up plays in Coventry who drives forward with kanu and May in support, plays to may, shoots, corner.

    Corner came to nothing.

These northampton commentators are getting right on my nerves, keep crying about none of ours being booked. Talking absolute cobblers you might say.....
If there isn't a Northampton podcast called Talking Cobblers then I don't know why we even bother anymore

Will feel more comfortable with a second goal here. Too often in the past we’ve dominated but not scored and then got kicked in the bollocks later.

No way is that a foul from Watson's challenge.

May with a beautiful first time pass, the return came too late really but May earns a corner.

lol!... Referee is favouring the big team apparently.

He's the first in a bloody long time if thats the case, given the shit we've had to put up with.

Terell Thomas fires a clearance against Simpson, deflects into the path of Bowie but he can't control, bit of a let off there. Charlton now win a corner at the other end

Might have a few quid on a Simpson red card. Seems more interested in wrestling than playing football

Good defending from Thomas prevents a chance and then corner.

Awful football but who cares ?
  • Solid away performance so far, we look solid but without creating too much.

Defended very well and got our goal. Still think we've got another gear to go up into, some of the play has been very sloppy. Also struggled to get the ball to Kanu.

Playing very direct and that's the correct way to play with this squad.

Could do with a 2nd but looks like most other results going our way; apart from Reading, but then you cant have everything.

Hang on for 3 points.....or even a draw if the other games stay as they are, then I'd be happy.

  • Scrappy first half. Really needs someone who can hold the ball in midfield. Having said that, apart from Thomas almost gifting them a goal, we haven’t looked in any real danger.

The Northampton commentators are the whingiest I’ve ever heard. Constantly complaining about how unfair everything is.
