Crystal Palace ethical issue

I was born on Anerley Road and the first property I bought was a maisonette in Penge. I worked in Sutton in the mid 90s when Palace got to the FA Cup final and even Southgate's Dad worked at the same place.
Trust me, all these things make you stronger and will make you hate Palace even more.0 -

Means someone is making the choice to move in with the full knowledge of the history etc.0 -
Fwiw we've had an offer accepted and are waiting to hear back from the lenders re: a place right near Dulwich Hamlet (so, very near where I'm currently renting), which is probably a lesser evil. No informative grafitti on the exterior either!3

Whilst off subject re house buying, the bloke who I purchase our cruises through was on the phone the other night, and we were discussing various option of tours in New Zealand prior to a long cruise, I was having a bit of a laugh with him and was discussing one option of catching a train from Auckland to Wellington (I believe) when he asked if I was a train spotter, my reply was only where football is concerned, why? He said I’m a Nigel. My question is should I find myself another travel agent?5

Welcome to the manor. I'm in Penge so even closer to Hell. Fortunately they're easy to spot so can be readily avoided. Most importantly good luck with the move.Leuth said:Sydenham. Sydenham's alright, yeah? If not, bit late to back out - we move in tomorrow

Ha, now there's an idea. There's a Millwall fan who works in the Penge Sainsbury's who I chat to and we have spent a decade wondering if this is the season Palace drop. We've given up hope now, even though this season looks promising.charltonbob said:

I lived very close to Penge for a long time up until a move to Somerset a couple of years ago. It used to be an absolute shithole but had improved a lot and the Alexandria is a great pub.0

Alexandra. Maybe. Can't remember, getting old.0

That's a shame .... used to go there with my next door neighbour, barrels of beer behind the bar, great stout and fair prices.
