I thought Mannion had a good game, but looked overly theatrical at times. It's a close call between them, but Kaminski shades it for me. Mannion is certainly good enough for a squad place but, frankly, I'd prefer a step up in quality over either of them for our first choice keeper.

I expected Kaminski to be an 8/10. I expected Mannion to be a 5/10.

Reality is probably more like 6.5 to 6 in Kaminski’s favour.

I understand people wanting to switch it up but I’m fairly confident we’ll be wanting Kaminski back by mid February, having realised that Mannion is no better over a longer sample of games, and cost ourselves a point or two in the process.

More comfortable with seeing what Mannion has to offer if we’re looking safe with 5 or 6 games to go. I’ll be disappointed if Kaminski is still our no. 1 in 12-18 months.

Why didn't Kaminski play on Saturday, was he injured, I havn't seen anything.
    Mannion is the cup keeper.

He didn't play in the Carabao Cup because he was struggling with injury and AMB played that instead, Mannion named on the bench.

I fully expect Kaminski back in on Saturday

Definitely feel a bit more confident with Mannion between the sticks. I know he didn’t have much to do today but as an example you can see it’s lifted the confidence when playing out from the back.

Don’t think today, taught us anything we didn’t know. Brilliant commanding his area, ok distribution and still have no clue how much of a good shot stopper he is

I thought his distribution was poor today but that can be worked on and is part familiarity. Was also criminal when he was appealing for a free kick while the ball was in play still.

The other 88 minutes were great though and some real good grabs from crosses. Wednesday night is likely to be a big test of his shot stopping

I think the more games he plays the better he will get, although I think he was unlucky not to start as no.1 this season. I love a keeper that comes and catches the ball in his area, it takes so much pressure off the defence, for this reason I think he deserves a run in the side even if Kaminski is fit, maybe it will encourage Kaminski to think about doing the same.

Defence appreciate having him in goal from the way they were applauding his catches of crosses today.

He was quality today, granted he didn't have to make a save but the rest of his game is very assured I was a bit disappointed in for the Wrexham game with communication with the backline but that's being harsh as it takes games to get up to speed and today he did everything you could ask of a keeper and I do rate kaminski as he's kept us In quite a few games with vital saves and one on ones but the more competition the better for us.

Personally I think we seem more composed and defend better when he is in goal.

I'd still like an upgrade in the summer. Maybe we should have gone for the Lincoln keeper after all?

Problem with that will be what we do with the ones we have already. Kaminski is on fairly hig money and would be hard to shift, whereas Mannion probably could be a decent target for some teams but he's the one most fans would prefer to keep it seems.

His claiming of crosses is the best we have had for years.

It was a perfect game for him. Not much happening to test his shot stopping but a game that needed a keeper to be strong in claiming the ball in the air and that's what he's best at. On the occasion Birmingham did try and hit a long shot they were way off target

For me it is so much more relaxing watching high balls coming into our box knowing the keeper is going to come and catch it. TK’s reluctance to do so just invites pressure Mannion keeps the spot for me

brilliant command of his area, seemingly fairly weak shot stopper. Was the same in league 1 and I guess Nathan thought saving shots was going to be much more important in the champ. With TK having so many clean sheets, NJ wasnt wrong I guess

If Kaminski didn’t make so many errors in shot stopping , I’d agree with you .

Mannion is streets ahead of Kaminsky on taking crosses and commanding his area.
I've seen nothing to suggest Kaminsky is a better shot stopper (he may be).
It's the first time this season I've not been concerned that our goalie will make a crucial error.
Keep him in and give him the chance he deserves.
If he fails so be it.
