At times this game reminded me of the under 11s games at school where whenever anyone got the ball, they’d try to take on the whole of the opposition on their own. It was a bit weird watching top quality players with their heads down, blinkered to any teammates standing in acres of space and hopelessly trying to do a Messi dribble through the middle of the pitch.
And also, that big guy up front for Man U, Zirkzee. What an absolute waste of space. Wasn’t on for long but looked non league standard.

Yeah, agreed. He was much better in The 300 , opposite Gerard Butler.

Looks awful, so slow.
Can see him getting a loan back to Italy next season.
Think Ten Hag might have actually been their worst manager for wasting money - £80m on Antony, £60m on Mount when he didn't have a clue how to play him and Fernandes in the same team, £60m on Casemiro who was on the decline, £35m on Zirkzee.
I don't mind Hojlund either but he should have been a £30m, we're paying for the potential type signing, not one with the fee of the finished article, £70m- odd.
Man City have looked bad this year. They’re a terrific group of players who are all capable of changing a game, but they’ve got away with it numerous times already. It’s a miracle they’ve taken this long to get beaten. Yesterday aside, they’ve looked like one of those teams that still somehow manages to win through their bad form. And they always do the business in the second half of the season, so I expect them to prevail again this year.
A few things are off with them this season.
Foden off form, he has carried his poor Euro's form into this season. Rodri's injury. De Bruyne injury. Gundogan looking a shadow of the player he was before going to Barcelona.
They need KDB back asap, then get through to January still in touch at the top and then you'd assume they will look to sign a Rodri replacement, as if they go the whole season with Kovacic there they're going to struggle to win anything.
Only saw the 2nd half but a brilliant 2-1 win for Fulham V Brentford with goals in 92 nd and 97 th minute to win the west London Derby which they dominated with 26 shots and 12 on target. Brentford parked two buses for the last 12 minutes and nearly mugged Fulham.
Harry Wilson scored two great fluke goals. The first off his calf and the 2nd off his shoulder. Harry came on as Sub in the 81st minute.
Just seen the goals, the first Fulham goal Alan Smith says 'did he mean it, I think he did'. Come of it Smith it was a fluke as stated by soapboxsam above.
The Bin Dippers are going to win another Premier League title arent they!!
We've been here before with City many times where they struggle before Christmas before going on a long winning run but it does look different this season. They haven't played well for weeks, have snatched points with late goals and of course there is no Rodri. Right now you'd have to say they don't look like a side that will win anything this season.
I didn't realise Matt O'Reilly who scored the winner had played for Denmark where his Mother is from. I knew he had played for England U21's and being called O'Reilly had Irish on his dad's Side. Apparently a Norwegian Grandparent as well.

Crucial win for Wolves over Soton.
Pep's finished
Man city don't mark players and now 2-1 Brighton.
You are such a shite tipster !
Tony Bloom the man with the Midas touch.
Sam, I thought so but they just showed the ref signalling no foul, play on !
Second breakaway from a Villa corner and Nunez hits the ball into the kop.
