Now the Saudis are really throwing the money around - £90m bid for Karou Mitoma , can't see how Brighton can reject that.1

I get he's big for marketing for Brighton but £90m for a 28yr old player has got to be very tempting no matter how well run as a club you are.0 -

Yeah that's mad if true.MarcusH26 said:JohnBoyUK said:

Should snatch their hand off. So to speak.

Difficult to turn that down although there's very little time left to buy a replacement.0

Someone needs to tell a Saudi club about an excellent Moroccan Striker than we have - He can be theirs for so much cheaper than 90m, would be happy to sell him to them at half the price of Mitoma!!3

Arsenal have been charged by the FA now for surrounding the Referee during the Wolves game... Do what I say, not Do what I do says Arteta!!North Lower Neil said:0 -

But the rule is simple... If Arsenal have a problem, the Captain goes and speaks to the referee.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Whats difficult to understand about that?
When has surrounding the referee, ever really been successful in getting your way?3 -

Surely warrants a points deduction?Chris_from_Sidcup said:

I don't disagree but trying to control your emotions in a high tempo PL game when you feel massively aggrieved by the ref is probably easier said than done.ForeverAddickted said:

Fair... But is that a good enough excuse though? - I mean a Footballer could use that excuse for any offence they commit. Shouldn't matter if they're right to be aggrieved either.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Maybe Community Service working with the Referees when they're not training would be a better punishment though0 -
What a talent Mikey Moore is going to be.... Also odd to see Dane Scarlett that struggled to get games in League 1 on the score sheet too.2

He has so deserved that goal. He'd played fairly well in his little cameos last few weeks. Never stops running.MarcusH26 said:What a talent Mikey Moore is going to be.... Also odd to see Dane Scarlett that struggled to get games in League 1 on the score sheet too.
I enjoyed seeing the many teenage talents of Spurs last night delivering in Europe but the standard of many of the teams in this European competition is championship standard.
Once you get to the business end then it becomes top teams from England, France, Spain and Italy normally, who have slipped from their glory days but the prize is great if you lift the trophy and a gateway to the Champions League.1 -

You're right the quality isn't great, but it's a very good chance for them to win and get into next year's CL.soapboxsam said:JohnBoyUK said:

Because now unlike in previous years, teams eliminated from the Champions League group phase or by losing a play-off don't drop down into the Europa League.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Spurs and Man U prioritising the Europa from now on because they're obviously not qualifying via the league.1 -

£50m for someone without even a full French cap, who's barely played for Bayern this season?MarcusH26 said:L'Equipe reporting Spurs have agreed a 60m euro fee with Bayern for Mathys Tel.0 -

Football transfers stopped making any sense a long time ago, but the kid is only 19 so fits the bill for Levy in that if he does well there's a high sell on value.killerandflash said:

I think the Lewis Dobbin,Omari Kellyman, Tim Iroegubunam 3 way deal involving Everton,Villa and Chelsea that totally wasn't over valuing young players for PSR in the summer was probably where it jumped the shark.4

He'll have to be a superstar to make a big profit on a £50m fee though.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Totallt agree. Debatable whether Elfsborg was even Championship standard last night to be honest. Tamworth had more of a threat in the FA Cup.soapboxsam said:JohnBoyUK said:

Spurs after Tomori on loan, now that would be a decent signing.3
