Can't imagine we release that video unless his rehabilitation is in the home stretch. Amazing comments from him in that video, that from Feb he was playing with some limited movement. I assumed he was was just playing through the pain barrier, but appears more to it than that.

Man, when he comes back onto the pitch, which could be very soon, he's gonna get such a welcome like he's never heard, he looked fit, ready, and full of condfidence in that video, and a testament to the great medical setup we have at The Club...6

Have to give a big shout out to Adam and his team, they are with these players every step of the way, through a lot of lows I’d imagine, he looked like he cared so much in that video. I think as fans we sometimes overlook what’s going on behind the scenes. Really pleased and relieved to see Matty on the mend was concerned for him for a bit.16

Yes, great to see Godden back, close to full fitness. The surgeon who messed up with the initial operation should be sacked off by the club, I guess they may have already done that.

I really like Godden but let’s be honest, he has never been a difference maker in the championship. A nice squad player who can come on and nick a goal in the second half occasionally but I wouldn’t expect too much coming back from injury at his age

Lyle Taylor had never been a difference maker in the championship before he was there with us. The form Godden was in last season I absolutely think he could have been very impactful this time around. On the back of his injury though, I am minded to agree with your concluding remark.
