Clothes that are Dry Cleaning only, why? Use another fabric/material, FFS!
I don’t mind something like a suit or a ballgown ( most of mine are sequins anyway) but when it’s a shirt it’s a bit much.
As I don’t own a suit or ballgown, but agree items that are worn more frequently is a right pain in the arse!
my valet just lays out a new shirt etc, what is this dry cleaning to which you refer?.

That Microsoft, Apple, Dell, Meta and all the other hi-tech companies are updating stuff constantly, almost all of it unnecessary to the man on the street, but I still can't save a file with a backslash in the name because it "isn't valid". How hard can it be...

More inconsiderate drivers not bothering to park up to double yellow, and taking uo 2 spaces. Happens far too often in tne street round the corner from us -

Nb - The space behind this car looks bigger than what it is. My short wheelbase Land Rover was about 50mm off the back of this car and still overhanging the double yellows. We've got a ticket for this before in this very street from Sevenoaks Council.

If you've got a proper land rover, I'd give the bugger a shunt. I get this nonsense in the three car bays on my road all the time. My back bumper is a right mess.

So you don’t have a stash of these in your glove box to use in these situations?

People who insist on having their laptop, tablet or phone low down so when video calling you are looking up their nostrils.

Technically it could be correct, but in standard usage it’s not. Just reading it makes my teeth itch.

  • I'm sure this must've been raised before, but the dark quality of so many modern TV dramas.

I read this could be due to the switch from analogue to digital, the saving on lighting, the saving on background detail or most likely the choice of production staff on artistic detail.  It may not be a particularly sophisticated view that I have, but I just wish that someone would turn the lights on.

Being stuck in a queue whilst some lottery nonce gets around 30 tickets checked, before bewildering the shop worker by asking for 4 number 2's, 3 number 7's and 2 number 5's

Its a bastard, the council's try and squeeze in everything in the half terms and holidays which is fair enough as the roads are a joy when kids aren't in school but yes, it kind of fucks things up for anyone else using the roads especially with delivery drivers thinking stopping in the middle of the road with their hazard lights on is fine

The amount of detectives that sit in the dark with a small lamp on is ridiculous.
