I am going to say it!! Yes I am, Nathan Jones......................

Still think he’s massively in credit and no other manager would be able to compete in the championship with our current squad but I do think he needs to be more flexible when it comes to adapting and timing of substitutions can be iffy.1

No more Bluewater or Costa Coffee for the rest of the year!!
We need to be alert now. The situation is more dismal than what I expected it to be!!0 -

Yeah. I just don’t understand people who want him out. We’ve had years of manager swapping and instability. Now we’re starting to build and people want him out. Unbelievable!7

Even if the worst happens and we got relegated (I don’t think that will happen), who would you rather have as manager? Nathan Jones is our manager and he should be our manager for years to come4

I’d have SCP back in a heartbeat if NJ was no longer our manager #unfinishedbusiness0

Wouldn’t go that far, but I believe Johnnie Jackson would do well under this ownership and investment!oohaahmortimer said:I’d have SCP back in a heartbeat if NJ was no longer our manager #unfinishedbusiness0 -
AFC Wimbledon dropping as quick as us in league one3

Just over 13 months ago, the majority of comments on this thread were calling for Jones to be sacked because we were certs to be relegated to league 2 under his management. 8 months ago he became the messiah who could no wrong. This season was always going to be a struggle against relegation. The 3-0 away win at Ipswich gave absurd hopes we could challenge for a play off place ( we were lucky not be 3-0 down before we scored our first ).
Before the start of the season, I stated on another thread that I would accept finishing 4th from bottom. We are on course for that and if we do that, it’s job done.4 -
PWRI can’t believe some of the bedwetting I’ve seen in the past hours. “He has to go”… “he’s lost the dressing room”… “we’re certain for the drop if we don’t make a change now”. It’s all incredible, how have people not learnt over the past 10 years that we’re extremely lucky to have Nathan Jones in charge of our football club.
We’ve had a disastrous injury crisis which is now just clearing up as we go into another transfer window. We’ve had abysmal form for a couple of months and we’re still 5 points clear of 22nd WITH a game in hand!I’m normally the most pessimistic person in the world, but I’m confident the form will pick up and we’ll be fine.4 -

We need to stick with Jones, he has plenty of credit in the bank.
He saved us from relegation and turned things around after the Crawley home game last season.
Who is to say that a new manager would be an improvement in our current situation.

It’s the same situation as last season. We built this squad for Nathan Jones, so if you give it to a manager that isn’t Nathan Jones they will probably do worseElfsborgAddick said:We need to stick with Jones, he has plenty of credit in the bank.
