  • He should have come on before Hylton, and that's not just with hindsight.

For better or worse we've made a big investment in him, whereas Hylton is a stopgap solution.
Has the injury played a part in this? 9/10 times I would be in agreement. In fact 999/10000. When was the last time gas got minutes.

now gas is back on the bench and leaburn starting, hopefully this is the end of Hylton as a player
  • Well apart from the bed wetting I've quite enjoyed this match thread today

On to Round Two we go!!

There's a Flanders and Swann song about that...

    All over.

On the preview thread I said we would win it 4-1.

    So I was almost right...😉

There is NO justification for conceding 3 against non league opposition.

We shouldn't be allowing them 18 shots.

You can't make excuses for this ineptitude!
Apparently not only can you, but you should.
I’m astounded that saying they’ve scored a penalty and two big deflections is counted as making excuses.

Maybe we should all be taking turns saying the team is shit, the goalie is shit, the manager is shit and forget trying to talk about anything with any nuance. Would that make people happier?
When the side is not performing, it's entirely valid they take criticism. Blind optimism is a pointless exercise, it feels like an incredible level of optimism to look at a game in which we're drawing with a side outside of the football league and say we're just unlucky and have performed well, when we clearly haven't
100%. They are non-league. Just win the game. Surely we're all tired of making excuses.
Fuck me this is frustrating to deal with.

I am not happy. I didn’t realise the only way I was allowed to express it on here was the same way you lot do.
Oh cut out the fucking drama. No-one is stopping you from saying anything you want you big flouncy queen.
No but being the focus of a competition for “who can have a go at Callum for blind optimism” every match thread when I don’t even think I’m being that optimistic does get a bit draining to be honest..!
I genuinely wasn't aware that was a thing. I was simply responding to your comments. I don't join pile-ons.

    Terrible header from their defender.

Imagine that the other way round.

    Yep......other teams make mistakes too.
