Godden!!! another great strike from May, oops, I mean miss by Godden.
Bad example seeing that May missed an open net here last season
  • Ahadme would have scored that.
  • That’s enough, switching over to watching paint dry on BeInDullards.

We've really signed a load of players on the way down in their careers haven't we. Godden, Docherty, Campbell, Berry and Hylton all miles off where they were as players
    Scouting non-existent still

It's OK. The goals are(n't) coming from all over the pitch.
  • Hylton would have kicked someone else
  • Reza would have missed
    Gunslinger Ronnie wouldn't have missed.

Part of the issue, but the make up of our squad and style means we play with little flair, pace or creativity. We can only win by grinding out results.

Come on now let's be serious.

  • Very reminiscent of Alfie missing one at that end last season… but of course May would’ve scored that :-)
    Actually he would have done.
Yep. Apart from the fact he missed an open goal at this ground, same end, last season..!
  • Jesus my old man could have put that in and he's only got one bloody leg!!
  • Reza would have missed
    Gunslinger Ronnie wouldn't have missed.
I remember him tripping over and somehow missing an open goal against Bristol Rovers in his second game actually ;)

Yes, he just could never score could he.

How many years left on his contract at his current club?
  • Can't recall seeing a team that is so clueless going forward.
  • Only someone who has played in the Championship can miss that
  • The sad thing is even when we get a few players back, the way NJ sets the team up I can't see things getting much better.

    Sadly another wasted season

I mean Godden has scored as well this season, as well as missed a gilt edge chance - So am sorry but I dont get your shite attempt at point scoring here.
  • We are bad.

  • I hate short corners, we make them look even shittier than our normal corners

Yes if only we had Hylton at his glorious peak, things could have been different

    How did Godden miss that?

Just sums up this league up. We’ve been so dull and average yet still in the game.
It was supposed to be tougher this year than, what was a poor division, last year. I’d argue it’s been poorer than last season, based on what I’ve seen so far. We really shouldn’t be making such hard work of it because most teams are crap.

Clearly aiming for bottom 6 not top 6. Fcuk me, how can we be waisting chances. What do they do all week? Golf?
  • Posh 5-1
  • Leaburn on his heels far too much today
  • How can anyone defend Jones now? It’s the same fucking awful shit every single game, he has signed a shitload of duds and he has no clue how to even begin to get anything vaguely resembling a tune out of them , it’s grotesque across the pitch from start to finish - every , single, week.
It’s alright, we’ll do a Southend and end up in the national league with Jones at the helm as we “can’t keep sacking managers”
  • Stockport 5-0
