    Absolute drivel.

Jones' time is running out IMO, you can't hide behind "we've made a mistake and it's cost us" forever
Players will always make mistakes anyway. It’s never about making zero mistakes. It’s about minimizing them and being far enough in front when they happen that they aren’t costly. You have to do much more to win football matches than just defend well and work hard.
  • Dog shit all round. Spending in the next window needs to be strong. As I have said before, why own it as multi billionaires (1000 million per billion) if not prepared to spend the wedge and enjoy the ride. Can't take it with you.
  • Did anyone who went last week go today and can give a honest assessment between the two performances.
  • To me a footballer is some one who has the ability to control the ball, pass to your own player, take on a player and beat him. None of these players out there today can do that.
  • Where on earth do we go from here?
The January transfer window.   Our only hope.

But the summer transfer window was supposed to be our only hope. January is for tweaking, not rebuilding.

Do you trust Jones to get the right players I though? I don’t

Was gonna say that the only way is up, but it's not

NJ needs to stop tinkering and build a team, preferably without the hasbeens and some creativity.

We are a big scalp for them! They are a tiny outfit and finishing 14th last season was a massive achievement
I don't think we're a big scalp for anyone in this league.
  • On the bright side, at least we are top of group 11 in the EFL trophy group

By the time the window opens, there will be no point in spending as we'll be too far adrift. If the window was open now... maybe.

Don’t you think changing manager three times a season is why we are where we are?

we can’t keep giving managers 1 window and expect to be champions.

today wasn’t great but what would be the point in sacking jones. Who would you go for?

what happened to giving managers more time. 35 games and one window is not long enough to judge a manager
I don’t want to spend another penny backing a manager who thinks playing four defensive central midfielders and a zero width from full back is the way to get promoted.

I get your point, and I do believe in giving managers time, ideally. But right now, we’re not seeing any real progress or improvement under Jones. It’s not just a matter of one or two bad games—it’s the same issues cropping up again and again, with us barely creating chances and looking shaky after even the softest of goals against.

In a perfect world, I’d want to give him more time to build, but at some point, we have to look at whether he's genuinely making us better or if we're just hoping it’ll all click someday. I don’t want to see us constantly switching managers, but if things don’t start looking up, I’m not sure what other options we have.

But what's the point in sticking with a manager because he "hasn't had enough time" when he's shaped the whole squad to be this negative at all times? Every game we create very little, and at the start of the season that was ok when we didn't concede, but now we create very little and have only kept 1 clean sheet in 8 games (ironically against the league leaders) and he cannot keep giving excuses when he's in charge
  • I've gone through the stages of grief and final accepted that we are just cursed and shit
  • When the starting 11 includes Campbell and Docherty, you know we are not going to win.

  • 13th, five points from playoffs. They had two strikes on target, we had one. Did everyone get there monies worth 🥴
  • £100 for the person who can tell me exactly what our tactics or brand of football is meant to be, and that includes you Nathan Jones.
"Attacking front foot football" is what it's MEANT to be.

Do you want my bank details for the money transfer?
  • Football is an entertainment business if you are going to set up to be drab, boring and difficult to beat you had better win more games than you lose or draw ! If this carries on I can see a new manager coming in before Xmas

So many times the balls played in literally the most boring and non threatening area/direction…painful to watch.
Fair play to the fans who went to Devon.

i don’t want to believe that NJ is happy with these performances, and I do believe the players need to be doing a hell of a lot better before there is any consequence for NJ…
  • Awful result. Really need wins and soon or this season will be over before Christmas.

You already know the post match interview

We are not doing the basics right, mistakes are costing us. It has been the same fucking thing for the past 8 games.

It is like a broken record. No doubt he will also say he was pleased with how we played at times. Which is utter rubbish. We created very little all game.

That was a pre-season type of performance.
  • So disappointing. Missed good scoring opportunities. Poor team performance. Needed 3 points from today but no where near it.
Next game v Peterborough who scored 6 today!
    Going nowhere fast.
  • January is the worst window to be needing major reinforcements. Even if the owners got the chequebook out I wouldn't trust Scott and Jones to sign the right players to remedy this situation.
  • All hope for this season has now evaporated for me.
Well done for lasting this long
