Thanks everyone, let’s keep the post-match action right here.
  • Jesus......just how desperate are we ?  Taking it to the corner flag in a competition that we've already qualified for & against a lower league side.

    Pathetic.
Making sure we win the group with maximum points, it puts us into the gold pot when Messi and Ronaldo make the second round draw in Paris
It's like Liverpool topping the Champions League table, also with maximum points.

A perfect record in the group stages of the banter cup. Chris Powell never did that

Can we have a player mark for the commentator? Need to vent...

    Positives
     - Kai Enslin
     - Nathan Jones' Ball Control
     - The Full-Time Whistle

    The Negatives
     - The 90mins of "that"
     - Danny Hylton not picking up a Yellow Card
     - The Commentator
     - The fact we're still in this competition!!
  • As always, thanks for the updates and humour.

Dear, dear, dear! About as inspiring as a wet fart!
11 days till we play again, 11 days to sort the entire squad out, it's just awful week after week!
NJ has loads of work to do!

    Well fuck my old boots!

Forgot we were playing. First bit of luck in weeks!

  • Very good debut from Enslin, outside of that pretty dull and lacklustre.

A win and a clean sheet.

    3 wins from 3

And the Wembley arch is in sight.
Well it is for me from Purley way on a clear day.
  • Well done Enslin played well.
  •  Enslin, full of energy, inventive, adventurous and brave. Well worth watching just for that.
  • Shows the squads ability, we cannot beat League One teams but manage to beat League Two, non league and under 21 sides

All joking aside, yet again tonight proved that playing Ahadme up top alone isn't going to get us anywhere. He looked better with Leaburn as a partner, he just needs to actually look to shoot sometimes as he's too focused on laying it off for someone else.

I'm not saying he played good or anything btw, just that he was a bit more effective with a strike partner compared to when he had Berry and Enslin about 20 yards away at all times

Hylton's got a turn of pace about him, similar to a stone rolling down up a hill

    Sorted that for you  :D

I know Steve Brown is not the most popular with some of you, and Tel is prone to the odd brain fart occasionally, but the Sky commentators make me nostalgic for the Charlton Live commentary, multiple times a game.
  • The U21 teams nearly all losing, Man City U21s getting hammered 5-0 by you assume a less than full strength Lincoln side, does raise a few interesting questions.

Shocking performence, Leaburn only decent player. Luke Berry was a disgrace and so was time wasting by the corner flag absolutley pathetic.

Wait... What does the commentator mean, we advance to the KO's

I thought that was it... I thought we'd won the BDSM Trophy???
You've been down on that beach too often  :D

    Yay!
Is that our loveable billionaires ?
  • Zak Mitchell MoM, and REG played well. The rest pretty meh. Of the youngsters, Enslin had a promising debut, but a few heavy touches let him down. Rylah was poor.
AMB, two good saves, but distribution still iffy. Team looked better playing two up front with Ahadme and Leaburn, but Bromley were pressing higher up the field at this point.

    What's the actual formation?
1-0 win played at 60% to avoid injuries …. could have been 2/3 but we win the group 100% record and most important no further injuries … good experience for a few young players .. well
