So with these two (Gilbert & Mitchell) deals, are we currently for this window:

7 out (Mitchell, Taylor, Edun, Asimwe, Campbell, Potts, Hylton)
    1 in (Gilbert)

    Is that correct?
Technically could include Henry back in.

Good point. Believe he’s out injured for a while so can’t see him being loaned out today.

Would be nice but I'd say that's third on the wish list after a centre mid and left centre back.

Yeah, though it sounded like Hylton may stay. Hopefully he doesn’t as a player if we sign another 2 today.
Thought his contract was not extended but being kept on in a coaching role?

The perfect window to slash budgets and reduce spending, congrats to the SMT

Only 14 EFL starts this season between the 7 outgoing players, 6 for Taylor, 6 for Campbell, 1 for Zach and 1 for Potts.

That was a rumour on here. The club have only said he’s continued training with us and it’ll be reviewed after the window closes.

I would have said an American saxophone player. Always wears a hat
The cover story is perfect, musician "Jazzy" James Jellis travelling with his band playing clubs across the country but every town he visits has a mysterious spate of crime...

As this thread is full of made up nonsense anyway!

We could team him up with Dizzy Gillespey !!! :D

Depends. If we have an injury / suspension list that ‘mirrors January, then no. If we have one that mirrors Nov or Dec, then very much yes.

Obviously you want quality players but with a couple of injuries I feel like we’re a bit short

Would say that is probably not the case. We’ve got 6 strikers for a start

Well we wanted a smaller, but fitter squad. I think the Blackpool game is only the second game this season we've thrown away a winning position? And before Saturday we had scored the most goals in the last 10 mins of a match and conceded the least in the same time, so that points to the team being able to push and play all 90+ minutes

I make it we have 2 keepers and 18 outfield players (if you don’t include Dixon and an injured Watson & Henry)

I make it 22 without Dixon (he is clearly considered an U21 player) and Henry (not in the squad on our own website).

NJ must be ecstatic with all that space on the training pitch now ! 😆

I think that tends to be how Jones prefers to operate though, he seems to favour a small but tight-knit squad over a big one with lots of "spare" players.

It's definitely a gamble but maybe this is where our new fitness/health team will really earn their keep (which they've done very well thus far in fairness.)

Not sure how accurate this list is, as ours isn't fully up to date. We are somewhere around the middle until it's updated again.

We should be on 22/23 as the list says we have Z.Mitchell, Hylton and Aaron Henry. Of course Henry will still count even though he's injured. But the other two shouldn't.

After that's updated, we will have the 2nd smallest squad in the league after Shrewsbury and be on par almost with Stevenage.

I assume all the others are up to date as they've updated ours with Gilbert and we are doing business late compared to the rest of the league.

Dale would be a bit of a surprise as he's mates with Charlie Kirk.

Don’t mind Dale as a loan signing. Played wing back at Blackpool so can cover Small in the attacking wing back role, and can obviously cover TC.

Good signing as a squad player that covers a couple of areas we have no cover in
