  • Know its early days but really dont think Dixon is up for too much 1st team football, looks lightweight and to be honest, knackered!
  • Well those 45mins have just put me through the emotional wringer!!
School run looking more likely FA
  • Positives - Edun, Small, Godden, Potts and the young right back

The rest especially Leaburn Berry and Docherty shite.
  • After 90 minutes, if draw, is it penalties or (please no), extra time
  • PWR and PWW... I like rolled oats with yogurt and blueberries.

  • We’ll smack me out of shock. A first half where we didn’t score…
  • Although Orient have had far more shots than us I feel we are the better team.

Both Small & Edun are putting decent crosses into the box & Godden was unlucky with his shot. No idea how Leaburn hasn't got his head onto a few of the crosses....one of then it looked like he ducked under it & another he didnt jump.

Can't complain atm & couldn't complain if it was 2-2. But another 45 goes past without us scoring.

I think Terry said straight to penalties
  • We did get slightly better as it went on but that's not saying a great deal. Potts being fit is good if he can replace Gillesphey in the 3 in league games. Leaburn looks like it takes him 6 minutes to shift his body when the ball comes to him, no idea what's going on with him but I don't think it's just a lack of interest. Doesn't even look like the player he did one banter cup game ago. I do struggle with REG, he's not a great defender or passer, I'm not sure what his game is other than being quite good at last ditch blocks.

I think under Jones our best attack partnership is Godden / Kanu

It stops the rest of the team punting the ball up field. makes them think about where they're passing it a bit more, and in the pairing up top, you've got two guys who'll just run and press the opposition... Given his lack of minutes, I'm disappointed that Kanu hasnt been given the opportunity to start tonight.
  • We really are terrible to watch...

Sad to say, there is no part of Leaburn's game that seems to be working, heading, control, shooting, it's all ineffective.
For a tall man he doesn't win many headers in the middle of the park.

  • HT 0-0 decent game Orient started of well but Charlton been the better side in the last 25 mins .. The young full back looked good so as Edun and Potts … Leaburn not at his best again and Dixon looks out his depth not had a run at the defence yet ..

I don’t like doing this but I wholeheartedly agree with your reasoned assessment
  • Taylor for Docherty or Berry might help and Campbell for Dixon would improve our right side. Baffled by Leaburn.
  • Laqeretabua looks clueless unfortunately
Thought he looks ok personally . Dixon struggling though.

Nonsense, he's hardly put a foot wrong.
If I'm going to be picky he got caught out of position once when Dixon misjudged his pass to him so was stranded upfield, and one occasion where he got dragged pretty centrally, but he's not disgraced himself by any means so far.

Sky commentator manages to pronounce Laqeretabua's surname right, but call's him Joel 🤣
    PWR

That’s more than our two 🤦🏻‍♀️ - it’s not LANGeretabua
    Erm... Yes it is... ;)

I knew Terry will start getting stick for this - BUT - Josh recorded the pronunciation of his name for us last week and there is an 'N' sound with the correct Fijian pronunciation.

    So "LANG-ER-RET-A-BUA" is the correct pronunciation!#cafc https://t.co/UoCB4ckkjN

Trouble with this is it’s a Nathan Jones tactic to try not to score any of your first five penalties and to hope that the opposition miss all of theirs.
After that they’ll be there for the taking…
  • I keep noticing 2 young backroom staff in the front row of the dugout at every home game. Anyone know what their roles are?
  • Laq has looked a very good one on one defender, but doesn't offer anything going forward. While REG and Potts must be one of the shortest CB partnership we've ever used for a while, so I imagine will try and get more high crosses in.
