England 3 wins so far, PAK 3 defeats ...... what could possibly go wrong?
ENG start at 1.16 and PAK at 7
3 wickets to Pakistan's 23 year-old captain, Fatima Sana0 -
ENG 39-4 - both Knight and Sciver-Brunt out !0
-
54-5
A lot of pressure on Dunkley and Capsey because we haven't got much to come. In addition, Ecclestone and Bell are missing the game through illness.
England are still favourites at 1.920 -
Dunkley out now
57-60 -
Poor,poor batting ! 6 down.0
-
Pakistan did have Australia 76-7 but, there again, I'm not sure who is our Beth Mooney and Alana King.
If we can get to 150 then we have a chance though losing both Ecclestone and Bell isn't going to help.0 -

I'm not sure that theses two have the skillset to put the pressure on against the Pakistan spinners - even the odd bad ball isn't being punished and we've gone into real survival mode.0

Capsey dropped off a sitter0

Capsey out LBW sweeping for 16 (43). Meanwhile, Dean is doing her best impression of Stonewall Jackson with 5 off 32.
78-70 -
Getting embarrassing now.
We will be lucky to bat 35 overs0 -
All 7 wickets have resulted from us missing balls on the stumps.0
-
The rain has come and will, hopefully, become heavy enough to save us!!!1

Looks increasingly likely that lucky Pakistan are going to get away with this and take an undeserved point from a game they were clearly going to lose2

Latest is that the covers are coming off and they are looking to start in about 45 minutes or so. Providing there is no more rain of course!0

They've now called another inspection for 10 minutes time. Whatever Pakistan's target will be (and a minimum of 20 overs have to be bowled), it is likely to be little more than 3 runs an over.0
-
31 overs per side game so we bat for another 6 overs0
-
Dean might have to improve upon her strike rate of 5 runs off 32 balls0
-
As will Arlott with 1 off 120
-
133-9 (31) with 54 runs scored off those 6 overs. Waiting for confirmation of Pakistan's target but it's probably going to be 20 or so runs less than our total.
The one area of concern might be the ability to grip the ball especially for the spinners. Pakistan's certainly struggled to land it in the right place post the break for rain.0 -
A decent innings post resumption as England finish on 133-9 but that will be adjusted0
-
113 is the target0
-
At 3.6 an over over 31 overs this should be a walk for PAK - especially without Bell and Ecclestone0
