Oh dear I didn't expect to wake up to us being all out.... As bad as it reads I'm guessing?

Brook looked good until he got one that randomly crept up to his glove on the way through.

So did Smith until the rest of the team collapsed around him and he tried to force the issue.

The tone was set by Crawley chasing a wide one he had no right to have a go at because it wasn't a half volley and finished by us trying to Bazball our way out of trouble in losing the final five wickets for just 12 runs off 19 balls.

    He never learns does he.
He's a vert lucky man to keep his place.

Thanks England, keeps me off Social Media all day to avoid unbearable Aussies. Might get some work done.

Smith hit on the elbow again first ball after tea, he's actually come back out with a bandage type thing on it

England burn a review on Marnus caught behind, the tiniest of gaps saves him
  • English commentator "Archer had 0-1 at one stage". We call it "1-0" dear chap.
  • It's great to have two pantomime villains at the crease. They're worth the admission money but would prefer it if we did get them out sooner rather than later.

We're bowling well - can the bowlers rescue the batsmen?

Get in there we needed Smith gone. We have bowled so well all of them.
  • Australia do have a long tail. Starc can bat but whoever bats at 9 for them will be having a nosebleed.
  • The last 8 wickets have been lost for 42 runs.

Seriously, who would fancy facing that for a living? They showed on social media Archer bowling to Root in the nets and to say the batter wasn't comfortable was a bit of an understatement.

Aussie false shot % must be pretty high by now
  • And Carse gets Khawaja too with a beauty!
