Still worried Green and Carey could dig in here with 50s but this has been excellent

Duckett and Crawley might be out there for a few overs later at this rate
  • I think the curator might have left a bit too much grass on the pitch.

    This is brilliant
  • Feel sorry for anyone with tickets for day 3 let alone 4 at this rate!

Looks like you might not be doing so much work after all.

Commentators saying no one will be bothered by the over rates, I think we know someone who will be

Hope not. To be out twice on the first day of an Ashes might be too much to take!

Has anyone ever been out twice in one day without a follow on involved or a declaration? Feel like that's got Crawleys name written all over it
  • 41-4 (20). At the same stage we were 94-4.

Thought Head had chopped on there
  • Head looks like he's still hobbling from being hit on the leg.

    Terrible drop that
  • Went to bed with us 4 down. Woke up with them 4 down. I'll take that. We are bowling well.

Thought of @golfaddick drinking a can of Monster at 2.45am has made me chuckle for no apparent reason
  • Green becomes the fourth Australian batter to be hit - this time a horrid one on the helmet.

Although it involved a follow-on, 19 July 1952 was quite a day for India's batters. Nine of the side were dismissed twice on that day, with Pankaj Roy (no relation to Jason) getting two naughts.
  • In the context of this game to date, obviously Brook's innings was a standout but Pope, given he was the batter under most pressure for his place, should take some confidence from that innings.

If you have a VPN, go to Australia and register on Channel 7. They have free Ashes coverage.
You have to register with a Perth postcode only, which is 6005.
  • These two are digging in a bit now
