Their CB, Barker, captain and one of their best players
Looked a real prospect when he made his debut for us and played a few games thereafter.

Never really understood how he never got another chance and was just allowed to drift off.

No Docherty  & Hylton on the bench ??

Also a mistake starting Leaburn again.

Docherty partner has given birth and you want Hylton over the mobile Kanu who's goal against Crawley was forgotten about in the aftermath of the loss at the Valley.
Pleased to see you say that as the time you said Leaburn was worth 50k he went on to score a brace !
Miles will score tonight and Kanu will score if given enough minutes in the 2nd half. Campbell and Gilbert to find the onion bag.

    2-4 away win.

Camara/ Watson midfield should be strong. Did either play for us under Nathan Jones?

Hopefully it'll be a good, exciting match like that 4-3 loss here in the EFL Trophy last season, just with us keeping a clean sheet this time.

I went to that game to tick the ground off, then Crawley got promoted anyway  :D

One of those away grounds that really hammers home how far we've fallen. My old local team Kidderminster Harriers have a nicer stadium than this and they are in the National League North.

Personally not in agreement with players missing games after a kid has been born. Different if they are still in labour but once born just man up and play.
I remember Curbs telling Brownie just that...although his missus was still in Labour iirc...those were the days eh...
If you are a footballer it’s just one of those things, like not being able to get pissed at Xmas. As I say, no problem if he’s away at the actual birth but once it’s out just play and score a beauty for your new born.

A bit surprised Godden hasn't been recalled but we'll see how Leaburn gets on.

Missed kick-off cos they were focusing on Mannion. We go up the other end, but the attack breaks down.

I think Crawley KO'd... the Cameraman was too busy gazing lovingly into the eyes of Mannion

It's headed clear back to Edwards, he crosses in but Gillesphey's header is straight up in the air.

Yeah, bit of both, but point stands, nonetheless.

Played short, cross in is headed away, shot from distance headed away by Jones.
