Peterborough United are unbeaten in seven home league games versus Charlton Athletic (W4 D3) since a 1-5 reverse in November 2010.
After their 2-1 win in February, Charlton could complete just their third ever league double over Peterborough, after 1993-94 and 2010-11.
Peterborough are unbeaten across their last six league games (W3 D3), their longest run this season. The Posh last enjoyed a longer run between November 2023 and January 2024 (12 games).
Charlton have won ten of their last 13 league games (D2 L1), keeping seven clean sheets during that run and conceding just seven goals in total.
Tickets arrived after a misdelivery at five minutes to 3 about the time the teams would come out in twenty four hours. I can only surmise that the trials have been completed and the omens look good for victory! COYR!
No need to look back at past encounters, previous Posh teams have been much better and we have been considerably worse. Worst case a draw but I think we'll win.
Like every really decent run, there is the fear that the wheels have got to come off sometime and this has banana skin written all over it. But if we keep doing what’s we’ve been doing there is no reason why we should not prevail. It won’t be easy but I think we’ll do it.
Might be underestimating Peterborough a tad then by the sounds of things.
They haven't lost since we beat them. Beat Wrexham in the tinpot Cup, drew to Stevenage away, beat Huddersfield away, Shrewsbury at home, drew to Blackpool away. Cambridge win away, a Wycombe draw.
These haven't been an easy game for a few weeks. Fingers crossed I'm very wrong and it's an easy win, but I have a feeling we will struggle.
Hopefully physically we are just too much for them and they crumble. It's certainly the least talented Peterborough side for a number of seasons.
Have a real dislike for the Posh and McAntony their benefactor. Just the fact he even went for coffee with Southall and they were both smug about it makes me heave. Saw his recent 'waffle' about a 'crap' season and freezing ticket prices....bore off. Tinpot club who will never fund themselves from ticket sales. They have played the transfer market well just like the old Wimbledon did and we know how that ended up. They are a team we never beat sadly and with their rising form this could be where we come unstuck. 1-0 to the Posh.
Can see a 0-0 on the cards here and although we should be looking to beat teams so low down in the league a point on the road won't be a bad point here imo.
Can't get all this negativity...(AKA realism apparently) as I have been told before, we're bang in form and on course for another three points, we can not afford to get anything other than this tomorrow if we are to maintain our slim chance of second spot...and I believe we will get a win tomorrow against a team who along with Bristol Rovers, hold the worst defensive record outside the bottom 4 with 60 goals conceded...

I am sure it will be a struggle and I don't expect an easy win. Draw would be good but let's go for a hard-fought 0-1
I am expecting to get to Peterborough, match postponed it has rained...
Near perfect post to lower expectations. If it does go ahead I can only see a 3-0 defeat. Followed up with defeat to Huddersfield and it's all over before it really got started.
Well, feeling nervous. And needing a loo but that’s another story.
Not won here for 15 years. What I’d give for that to change today.
Come on you reds. Keep that momentum going
The first line's true to the song, the second alright, but an unexpected departure from the original, which I prefer tbh. Something tells me it won't top the charts. 😉
If we get an early goal, we will get 3 points. If not, I expect a tough fight against an improving Posh and will be happy to bring home a point based on them being a bogey club.

If we go at them like we did Wigan, we'll take care of business.
