Historic records are there to be broken (except against Millwall).

Historical records going back 20 years don’t mean a thing. We’re better than them, which is what really matters.
The poor record is very recent btw, 20 years back would actually favour us instead where in 7 games we won 6.

    This is the recent record:

Expect for a fair few of us we have never seen us win at Peterborough?

5th time lucky for me today hopefully.
  • All the playoff teams dropping loads of points over recent months... we're now in their shoes with the weight of expectation firmly on us. Hopefully we can play the game, not the occasion or the opportunity, in which case we'll be absolutely fine today. But a big ask.

Will be off to Belgium to watch this on Charlton TV this afternoon, which is slightly ironic as I've literally just come back from Belgium. Perhaps I can virtually also move to a nice Belgian bar surrounded by enticing bottles of Trappist Ale and Gueuze, rather than my living room  :)

Game is on BBC Radio London on digital (DAB radio and Freeview channel 721 - but not online)

94.9 FM will have the rugby so if you're hearing that, switch to DAB

I'm on a long unbeaten run, mate, so don't worry. A 1 1 draw Xmas 1992, a 1 0 win in November 1993 that saw us go clear at the top of the second division and a random visit with a Chester supporting pal in August '05 when even they won 1 0. Thirty three years unbeaten, it's Huddersfield-esque.

I'm en route now fully expecting my run to continue. No idea how I've not been to see us there for over 30 years but there you go.

It will be a tough game but, given that we're 24 points ahead of this lot, we should be able to handle them.
& quietly confident of being 27pts in front by end of game…🤞🏻,

Allow extra time if you’re driving via Dartford tunnel.  It’s being its shitty self today.  Allow at least an extra half hour

Petrol head going by coach from Charlton cos we’re not about and he couldn’t be bothered fannying with trains
coach supposed to have left Charlton at 11.30 and still not turned up , fans understandably frustrated .
    poor showing from coach firm

No, all that matters is that we are better than them this afternoon.

Peterborough right now have two points of ours that we want, we go there and wrest those points back.
The event will be what the event will be, the only focus ought to be on getting those points.

I’ve done the honourable thing and decided not to make a last minute dash to Peterborough - if I’d done that we’d have lost so I will now watch on sky safe I. The knowledge I have done my bit - hope all u selfish lot at the game don’t spoil it for us

Might be underestimating Peterborough a tad then by the sounds of things.

They haven't lost since we beat them

    …let’s do the double

What a shit start to the day - one of the dartford tunnels shut, broke down lorry on the roundabout and my hire car develops warning signs so have to go home to use my daughters car.

Tunnel was open as we got through.  It was all just because of a broken down car before the tunnel.  Not need to shut the pipe for that 😡😡

    All clear after that

    safe travels everyone

Coach left Charlton over 45 mins late
they’ll get there comfortably on time as long as they don’t stop

It's amazing what a landscape gardener can do. Changed the sky and sun supplier too.

Feeling old. Just realised my first game at Posh was virtually 50 years ago to the day. King Arthur up from the back, heading our equaliser in a 1-1 draw. Another positive step to promotion that year.

I think we win today if set pieces are good.  Well that's my birthday wish anyway. COYA!
