    Any news on JRC injury?
    Is he injured?
Took a knock Tuesday no clue how bad it is
Given that he started against Ipswich, and was only subbed off 20-30mins before anyone else. There is the chance he was simply rested yesterday, after the knock you mention.

He wont be overly behind with minutes compared to anyone else, by missing yesterday, and could have just been left out as a precaution. Especially if Jones is going into the Watford game with the intention of starting Docherty, and having Costello as a sub.
  • I see he too the knock and then played till half time. Just haven’t seen anything more about it.
Hopefully was just rested up yesterday ready for Watford!’

If we make no more signings this week, do you think they’ll be an overeaction on here?
No, I would say anyone who reacts poorly to our window now, assuming we make no sales is being unreasonable.

Our XI and options as things stand, a massive improvement, and should be enough to make us a competitive lower half championship side.

Ideally we would sign a right wing back, another centre mid, a versatile left side defender as cover and even a striker who can be good foil for Kelman/Tanto/Apter/TC etc, but maybe that will come later in January.

As things stand this has been a successful window, and we have given ourselves a fighting chance to stay up.

We must remember players can play more than one position, so we don’t have to have a like for like replacement for every position.

It’s not a case of Mitchell being Jones replacement, Burke would play ahead of Mitchell if fit.

I’m sure we’ll see Costello and Ramsey playing at RWB if/when needed depending on injuries/who we’re playing.

I’m sure we’ll see Bell at LWB and even TC if we’re chasing a game.

You can only start 11, and then we need 9 on the bench that can change the game and fill in multiple positions.

With the post the club put out at 5pm we are obviously announcing a signing tomorrow surely they wouldn’t be building it up if it was one of the trialists ? I’m hoping it’s Fukurda
Is it not a kit launch ?

Isn’t that the third kit reveal ?

We have Berry, Leaburn, AMB and the other Mitchell to add to that as well, and that’s before you include any u21s. WB on both sides is the only obvious gap, I think we’d need to move players on to bring more in elsewhere, not counting Ahadme and Taylor who I don’t think NJ will see as serious options in the league.

You'll be disappointed when it's the 3rd kit.

Ssshhh, walls have ears don't ya know...🙄
  • What's going on with our link up with Mount Pleasant Academy?
  • Second Tier Podcast out with episode 1 of 3 on end of season table prediction. Today they featured teams 17th to 24th. We are not within this batch of teams according to both seasoned pundits. Watford and Wrexham in 17th and 18th according to them and for some very good reasons. They have Wednesday, Hull and Preston as going through the trap door…
Would love that bottom 3, but think Preston might have enough.  Got to be Oxford or Pompey for the other slot

  • Not going to complain at all because the window has been brilliant but ending it on a Lembikisa or Bennett would be slightly depressing considering how solid our other signings have been
Agreed. I was hoping we would end with a Big Bang.

Sheff Wed and Hull will be in the bottom 3 …. then anyone of 7/8 teams
  • I think it might be a case of ‘if the right player becomes available, we’ll have a go for him.’
  • I'm the complete opposite, get all the big signings in as soon as possible, before we kick off the season proper. Holding out til the end of the window just to finish "with a bang" is something Wrexham and Paramount+ would be looking to do together FFS
  • J League is mid season albeit looks to have had a mid-winter break
    Mid-winter break? It's f*kin August!

Where do you think Japan is located? Just east of Brazil?

We will get Bennett as back up, but we need a proper defensive minded RWB to play in the first 11. Before anybody says Apter, remember when we tried TC in that position. It both hinders their attacking ability and weakens our defence. No thanks.
How do you know we are signing Bennett?

Was on a 1 week trial nearly 2 weeks ago so I imagine he's more likely than not tbh
