  • I know he was someone that was mentioned on here a lot earlier in the window , Reading have replaced Harvey Knibbs by bringing in Kamari Doyle on loan from Brighton who I know impressed people on here for Crawley.
  • Ronnie’s posts recently have been insightful and well thought out.

    I’ve enjoyed the shift
Which only goes to further suggest he is being a deliberate WUM most of the time.

Spurs are an interesting one. Maybe they will remember how we treated Nile John. Was meant to be their starlet and didn’t get a look in for us
John has since reached the dizzy heights of the Portuguese 2nd tier.
Yeah, I mean fancy having to suffer the beautiful and sunny Santa Maria da Feira, on the West Coast of Portugal when you could be plying your trade in rainy Nth London...terrible ain't it...🙄
Is there an east coast of Portugal ? 😉
In his defence, there is a south coast, with the coastline from Faro to the Spanish border trending northeastwards...

Edit, also, being super pedantic, what about the eastern shorelines of Madeira or the Azores?
I am in Tavira, slap bang between Faro and the Spanish border  B)
I've been there! Lovely innit. Quite the riverfront
Tavira is beautiful, we are very lucky to live here!
    …in Stockport? 🤓

Just goes to show how Football has progressed, and how fucked it is

Did we ever really have to spend £10m in the Premier League, just to be able to finish at least 17th

Whereas that's what we've clearly had to do this summer, but in the f**king Championship
Problem is the championship is the most unbalanced and unfair league going ..a promoted team gets very little but still expected to spend around 12/15 mill just to finish 4th from bottom yet teams that come down get 90 mill parachute money over 3 years …
I've given you a like there RonnieMoore.
Probably the best post from you I've ever read.
You have missed many thoughtful contributions then.
Ronnie came on here as a WUM, but has gone native and started talking sense, albeit as a pirate.

  • Ronnie on the road to Damascus, who would have thought it.

Think this is a good signing for Reading. Didn’t work out at Exeter at first but think there is a lot of room for development. Showed promise at Crawley. Could do well this season for Reading.

I think it's one of the better moves they could have made as a replacement. Bags of potential and the right place for him to develop.
  • It's all got a bit boring, to be honest.

    No signings since last week.

And no friendly lined up this weekend.

Not even excited for this Saturday. Get me to January so the rumours are back in full force.
