What a total balls up by the club. Booked and paid for four tickets on Monday, have over charged me, under 19 ticket when i booked a under 14, Bank statement shows £97 paid, only processed two tickets asked to print tickets off, it states collect from the ground although I live 2 hours away. What total car crash of a club..try to ring them, held on the phone for over 30 minute still no answer
E mail them as they recommended regarding the refund.

Re collection, if you have a friend who can collect for you e mail the friend, authorising them to collect on your behalf and attach your confirmation e mail.
Make sure your friend takes proper ID such as passport or D/L with them.

Hadn’t received my email/tickets, after buying our three season tickets on Sunday morning.  As of last night the fee was also still pending on my credit card, but I did have a transaction number from the App.  Dropped an email to the ticket office this morning and they have sent them through for us.

Hope everyone gets sorted soon if they’re still waiting 🤞🏻
Very interesting as I am still in the same boat as you were-I got my ticket on Sunday-in that my was payment taken, got an order number and then nothing-no confirmation email or tickets. I contacted the office and they said on Monday to wait until Tuesday. I contacted them Tuesday and they told me to wait until Friday. Now I am being told to wait until next Monday (presumbly they are expecting loads of people to tell them on Friday they still haven't had their emails). Surely even our creaky software system has the ability to send the email with tickets within a relatively short period of time? In speaking to the ticket office they said that emails were slightly delayed but surely a week suggests a more major failing than that. I had thought just booking the ticket would be the harder part of the job rather than sending an email. Like you I have asked the ticket office if they could resend the email but sadly I have been told to wait until Monday. I am hoping on Monday it is not a case of "give it a few more days"!
I didn’t call, just a very polite email.  Clearly quoted the transaction number in the subject, said I knew they were snowed under and just wanted to flag it before the 11am deadline (subsequently moved to Friday). Gave our three details and before I got the response an hour later I could see that my pending payment was taken.

I’m sure they’ll work this out over the next few days and well before next Thursday. I’d say to everyone just bear with the ticket office staff.  They’re not the ones who bought the system or put out the messaging about how this was going to happen.
  • What they should've done imo is this.
Monday & Tuesday. Allow season ticket holders to buy thier seats and their seats only. No extras.
Wednesday. Allow season ticket holders and VG to buy the equivalent of their ST ticket plus 2 extras anywhere they want in the ground including those not taken up on Monday and Tuesday.
Thursday put the rest on General sale.
What they should do now is honour their original statement & put all the ST seats on sale  TODAY.

All those who panicked bought should accept it. You have a ticket for the match. Accept that you panicked & now have a seat in the West or Block B of the AC stand instead of your usual in North Upper.

I've waited patiently to buy mine. Was originally going to be Tuesday.... then Wednesday. Now its Friday.

All because you couldn't wait an hour or two on Sunday.

    Pah  !!

And thanks @clive. I stand by what I said. Everyone who wants a ticket will probably get one......if everyone followed the procedures from Sunday onwards.
As others have said if you periodically log on today some tickets are appearing which you can try and secure.
    It's all look at me.
His S/T brother offered to buy him a ticket days ago and presumably is still able to.

Often get this using Charlton TV.
    Couple things to try.

A different browser you don't normally use (e.g Edge or Firefox if you use Chrome)
    Try Private/incognito mode
Lastly if they don't work clear site data, cookies, history in your browser. This last option will delete everything so make sure you have details and passwords of your other sites before trying.

    Always.
Have to change password every visit.

    Plenty.
Try different device or different browser or try clearing your cache.

I don't want a refund, i have bought four tickets and that is what i expect. Secondly, why should a member of my family or a friend have to put themselves out to go and collect the tickets when they cannot even get something so basic right.

Shame that. Do we think they will sell out?

If nothing else in 2019 having split the stand at that end impacted the decision of which end to have the pens due to safety considerations which benefited us.
  • Haven't read the full thread - is someone able to clarify the situation with the JS Stand?
Yes. Apparently the club want to try closing it next season when it’s only a small away following so our players can play in front of empty stand in our bid to be an ‘elite’ club.

Apologies, when you said "they have overcharged me" it read as though you would like a refund.
    Your post is unclear.
  • Interested to see so many appear to have had a problem with Chrome.
Just for balance I had no problem using Chrome.
I had an initial issue where I missed the link to purchase my own season ticket, but thanks to CL I was made aware and still logged in back tracked and clicked on the link!

There tickets are on sale until midday on 15 May, so even if don't sell out, there's no chance remaining will be on sale for home fans with split stand.
  • Just got three in the West lower. Was originally doing it on my laptop and two became available in the north lower. For some reason, it wouldn’t let my buy. One of my mates had the same issue so switched to his iPhone. I switched to the iPad and was available to buy them when they became available without any issue.

I've been logging in periodically but I'm out and about and whenever I look there is nothing available. I'm also out at 11am on Friday so won't be able to help then either. However, I'm sure he will get a ticket somehow.

If they've only sold 1500 by Monday and we've sold out the home stands then surely we could reduce their allocation to 2000 as you wouldn't expect them to sell more than another 500? I guess that might require them to physically return the tickets we've sent them though.

Nope. Been doing that. Still all greyed out. I expect because they have been taken off sale for non ST holders until Friday at 11am.

Me playing the clown !!  Thats rich seeing all the people on here since Sunday morning moaning & panicking.  People buying multiple tickets & now wanting to have the money refunded.

I waited my turn on Monday. Read all the panic on here & thought " let's leave it a day or 2 to settle down, for the club to sort out the IT system & wait for all the ST seats to become available on Tuesday". The match is not until NEXT Thursday fgs !

If I dont get a ticket then so be it. I wont cry about it. I'll just watch it at home on Sky.

I again spoke to the duty manager today on the phone( nice lady) was told the same as you to wait till Monday. I did say you told me Tuesday, then Wednesday and as the website now  say’s Friday. She did say that Monday was a hopeful target.  I think the ticket office is overwhelmed. My fear is that tickets will not get to people on time as every day it’s being pushed back. I did get my tickets on Sunday @ 11.30am so if it is Monday that will be over a week which is so poor. Not there fault I know but still not acceptable. Hopefully I’ll be at the game if they arrive.
  • 3 in block A, and 1 in block L west stand just appeared.

love this hunting for tickets, and i'm not even going!
Saw those, stuck one in my basket, went to check out and it said seat unavailable. Oh well

Yep, with some perseverance tickets can be purchased easily today, I know because I have. Anyone wanting tickets today - genuinely - exit CharltonLife and sit on the ticket site until something comes up. Anyone after a single will certainly have no problem whatsoever if they wait it out.
