What they should've done imo is this. Monday & Tuesday. Allow season ticket holders to buy thier seats and their seats only. No extras. Wednesday. Allow season ticket holders and VG to buy the equivalent of their ST ticket plus 2 extras anywhere they want in the ground including those not taken up on Monday and Tuesday. Thursday put the rest on General sale.
What they should do now is honour their original statement & put all the ST seats on sale TODAY.
All those who panicked bought should accept it. You have a ticket for the match. Accept that you panicked & now have a seat in the West or Block B of the AC stand instead of your usual in North Upper.
I've waited patiently to buy mine. Was originally going to be Tuesday.... then Wednesday. Now its Friday.
All because you couldn't wait an hour or two on Sunday.
Pah !!
And thanks @clive. I stand by what I said. Everyone who wants a ticket will probably get one......if everyone followed the procedures from Sunday onwards.
If you stand by what you said and everyone including you who wants a ticket will get one, why don't you stop playing the clown?
Me playing the clown !! Thats rich seeing all the people on here since Sunday morning moaning & panicking. People buying multiple tickets & now wanting to have the money refunded.
I waited my turn on Monday. Read all the panic on here & thought " let's leave it a day or 2 to settle down, for the club to sort out the IT system & wait for all the ST seats to become available on Tuesday". The match is not until NEXT Thursday fgs !
If I dont get a ticket then so be it. I wont cry about it. I'll just watch it at home on Sky.
You've omitted that your S/T brother offered to get you a ticket.
If we sat together I'd fear for the rest of that row. No-one would be able to get in or out.

And why would you have needed to sit together. Your brother could have bought you a ticket anywhere in the ground before general sale, as far away from each other as physically possible.
Be honest, for whatever reason you chose not to take him up on the offer thinking you would be able ti get your own, and now you maybe can't because the timings don't suit but you did have the opportunity and turned it down.

Hadn’t received my email/tickets, after buying our three season tickets on Sunday morning. As of last night the fee was also still pending on my credit card, but I did have a transaction number from the App. Dropped an email to the ticket office this morning and they have sent them through for us.
Hope everyone gets sorted soon if they’re still waiting 🤞🏻
Very interesting as I am still in the same boat as you were-I got my ticket on Sunday-in that my was payment taken, got an order number and then nothing-no confirmation email or tickets. I contacted the office and they said on Monday to wait until Tuesday. I contacted them Tuesday and they told me to wait until Friday. Now I am being told to wait until next Monday (presumbly they are expecting loads of people to tell them on Friday they still haven't had their emails). Surely even our creaky software system has the ability to send the email with tickets within a relatively short period of time? In speaking to the ticket office they said that emails were slightly delayed but surely a week suggests a more major failing than that. I had thought just booking the ticket would be the harder part of the job rather than sending an email. Like you I have asked the ticket office if they could resend the email but sadly I have been told to wait until Monday. I am hoping on Monday it is not a case of "give it a few more days"!
I again spoke to the duty manager today on the phone( nice lady) was told the same as you to wait till Monday. I did say you told me Tuesday, then Wednesday and as the website now say’s Friday. She did say that Monday was a hopeful target. I think the ticket office is overwhelmed. My fear is that tickets will not get to people on time as every day it’s being pushed back. I did get my tickets on Sunday @ 11.30am so if it is Monday that will be over a week which is so poor. Not there fault I know but still not acceptable. Hopefully I’ll be at the game if they arrive.
I have tried the polite email approach but am still waiting. The reply from the Duty Manager of Monday being a hopeful target does not give you much confidence. Like you I made my purchase around 1130-1145 on the Sunday and you do wonder how close to the wire we will get our tickets-meanwhile I have recieved two emails from the club about the mascots!
You’d think if they were short staffed and under pressure and needed extra help they could just ask the fan base. I’m sure there are plenty who’d help out writing addresses on envelopes and sticking the tickets in etc to help alleviate the pressure whilst the staff dealt with other more pressing issues.
I’m surprised how some people have been getting their emails with tickets attached, mine arrived within five minutes, and some haven’t. Why? Something that definitely needs looking at.
Absolutely. Whilst I am pleased others seem to get their tickets through rapidly it has to be concerning that a reasonable number of those of us who ordered back on Sunday are still waiting and it seems we are expected to accept that we will get them at some point with staff referring to a Monday date as merely hopeful. You would have thought they would focus on those people whose emails are outstanding to clear the backlog first?
You wonder if there is any joined up thinking? Is anyone thinking if those who have yet to receive their emails have anything in common? ie do they all have Gmail accounts? There must be a reason other than volume.
Mine is a @btinternet.com address and it allows me to get copious emails from the club (mascot packages, 'win cash prizes with matchday with Valley Gold Jackport prizes 'etc)-anything in fact it seems apart from Play Off tickets!
Marketing emails are something completely separate from ticket office sending tickets though. Not sure what receiving pre-made emails has to do with tickets being sent.
But don't the ticket office source your email address for tickets from your Profile? When I renewed my ST it asked me to check my profile email address-no?

So you are blaming 'panic buyers' (of a high demand, limited capacity, rare event) for you not having a ticket, when they all have one?!!
One of my nephews has a s/t but was totally blocked from buying for some reason. When he saw it was likely selling out, he just secured a ticket anywhere he could. I call that rational behaviour in the circumstances.
Seem to remember you gobbing off a couple of days ago that it wasn't a sell out.
Maybe for once you won't be right in hindsight.
Although I'm pretty sure you will still get a ticket if you really want one!!

I am guaranteeing Golfie a ticket and he can have it for nothing, its nowhere near me but he can have it. He's a Charlton supporter and he should be there, that goes for everyone who is able.
I have purchased 3 tickets and now want to get my ST seat as well, when I log in it tells me to click here for seat then goes to greyed out seat map, how do I find my seat? thanks for help, using iPhone safari
Absolutely livid! I’ve just found my mum was refused her carer ticket that she’s entitled to due to her disability for home leg of the playoffs, are the club really that desperate for a few quid that they are willing to shit on someone who’s had a season ticket since 2011 that are willing to put her in danger of a fall with no one around to help?
Absolutely disgusting.
If anyone can tell me where to direct my complaint, please let me know.

Our tickets for the 1st leg turned up in the post this morning. Well done to the ticket office for getting those out given the chaos that must be going on 👏👏👏

Are you sure on ‘refused’ mate? I know the online ticket system can’t support the carer ticket, but speaking to the ticket office via phone should resolve that. If she is ambulant disabled, she is entitled to a carer ticket. If she already utilises a carer ticket with her season ticket, she would already have provided DWP letter confirming disability

I got the information second hand from my sister and I’ll be calling my mum later tonight to find out exactly details before I send the email.
They also tried to remove her lift pass a few years ago, complaints had to resolve that too. It’s really not safe for her to be attending games alone since her stroke, but she’ll do it anyway as she’s too proud to fully accept it.

My gripe is CAST wont immediately call it out as a bad idea saying we have to await more details.

Clearly the club has attempted to do something different for the play offs which hasn't worked.
Postman's been
Queue is into Main Reception where a well known Security person is handing out the tickets.
Apparently, tickets were sent out yesterday by 1st class post....
Hoping that your local postie delivers daily to those waiting on them.
