  • Will there be VAR in the final?
  • Will there be VAR in the final?
    Yes
  • Refereeing question for the experts out there - maybe @PeterGage or any others?
Just rewatching the Stockport v Orient semifinal and noticed that when the ref gave the free kick for the goalkeeper picking up a back pass there was no indication from the ref that he considered it a back pass and that the goalie shouldn’t pick it up.
I thought the ref was supposed to signal this, like with a hand up or something? Did I just imagine this?
  • Will there be VAR in the final?
    Yes
    And the semi-automated offsides

The lesson from that game for us tomorrow… take your chances when they come.

Just watched the Orient highlights. Stockport should have had at least one penalty which was blatant. What with the offside in the first leg, Orient have definitely had the luck of the decisions. But then Stockport had plenty of good chances in both games and it shouldn't have got to penalties.
Stockport can have no complaints really, they had some shocking decisions at Orient, that's true, but all they have to do is win a home game and they made a right bollocks of it.

They gave away a criminal goal early on and then missed some golden chances to win the game and paid the price.

2 up at Orient as well.

  • Anyone daring to watch today then
  • Come on Sunderland (but come back down so we can beat you in the final in a couple of years)

Its Sunderland in the West End of Wembley isnt it?

Tyrese Campbell for Sheff Utd is going to confuse the shit out of me - Wonder if this'll be a first, two Play-Off Finals in the EFL this season with two players involved with the same "name"

  • Le Fee sounds like Franglais for how much his transfer cost.
  • Le Fee sounds like Franglais for how much his transfer cost.
Roma paid almost 20 million for him twelve months ago!
  • Cant we have any flags to wave like the Sunderland fans?

Poor showing from the club, not to communicate something like that
  • Do they normally do the national anthem before playoff finals?

    Every time
  • Terrific save that.
  • What a save
  • Unbelievable save
  • Who made the save, I've switched over to watch F1 Quali for the first hour

Patterson for Sunderland. Few Charlton fans no doubt moaning because he didn’t catch it.
  • Some save
  • Blimey, O’Nien really is injury prone at Wembley. In our game, he ended up with a “Terry Butcher” style head bandage
