Mannion had nothing to do, defensively we were solid just watched Ramsay block for Wycombes big chance.

    Well deserved winners

I think that was a very well organised game for us. Defence were immense, god I hope we keep hold of Lloyd Jones, he won't be out of place at a higher level.

Think we missed Berry, he's anonymous a lot of the time, quietly and effectively goes about his business.
Maybe but Gilbert is decent and had another good game.
I must have been at a different game because I thought Gilbert was gash. Especially his deadball routines. In fact our midfield 3 were about as creative as a dead slug. I'd drop Docherty & play Anderson,  and Berry (if fit) for Gilbert.

And I know why people usually disagree with me because if you sit in the Covered End lower you cant see from the 6 yard line to the goal line. I know I'm short & would probably help being 6ft 2 but even with everyone sitting down the view is poor. Never sat there before & never will again. AC stand everytime.
The first comment is probably explained by the second comment.
Gilbert’s passing offers something that we don’t have without him.
Generally thought it was a decent game, not that it really matters. It was tense all the way through and we deserved to win. I could almost say ‘just win matches’. Can’t wait for Wembley.

Really wish I hadn’t booked a family holiday when we were 19th now.

I’ll be in a corfu airport at kick off 🤦🏻

Brilliant night under the lights at the valley. Amazing noise when that goal went in

Teams know they have to beat us before the last quarter, as we just get stronger. Now NJ has to work out how we beat Orient. Hopefully with the same squad as today, none of whom let us down.

Play Gilbert and hope we get a lot of corners :)

Jones getting a lot of stick on Twitter…it was a bit OTT on the sidelines…he’s a nutter but he’s our nutter lol…will also detract from our players as spotlight will be on him which is prob a good thing

We're getting caned by the err footballing public on the BBC Comments page, Nathan in particular.

We know and he knows that we haven't won anything yet but after enduring the crap we've faced over the last six years explains our sheer bloody relief tonight that we are hopefully on our way back.
    Well done boys.
    Sincerely? Fuck 'em!!
Yes a lot of posters (not Wycombe) criticising Charlton supporters for the pitch invasion  :D:D:D & to be fair most of the Wycombe supporters were saying the best team won & were criticising their own manager for their dreadful "style" of football.

Very weird comment. Gilbert was MOM, no doubt.

F*ck ‘em. He’s marmite. They’d love him if he was their manager.

To be fair on the Sky interview he did say it was OTT and (unnecessarily) apologised.

Gilbert played well apart from a shitty free kick and corner but added some creativity…Doherty and Coventry did a job but that was about it…Orient have some good mids so will be a tough game…

Ambrose got it spot on; Wycombe / Dodds were too worried about stopping us, than winning it.
Played Kone and Onyedinma together on Sunday.

Today he only started Kone, then replaced him with Onyedinma late on, instead of playing them together. Kone might be out of form, but I bet Dodds wished he hadn't taken him off when they went 1-0 down  :D

Bloody brilliant! Had to celebrate with a very gentle fist pump as my newborn is asleep on my chest
That takes me back to when my son was 3 months old and I was listening to Charlton v Leeds from St Andrews

Gilbert was faultless for the first 30-40 mins and then trailed off a little
