Between Yann and Solly for me too like a lot of you. Heart is saying Solly as he's been amazing and is an academy product but I just have so much man love for Yann! This is too difficult!

Can't understand why kermo should be 9 goals for a striker????
In regards to Yann, you obviously haven't seen him play week in week out because if you had, you wouldn't be saying that.
For me its solly his defending has been superb can only remember 1 or 2 occasions in which people have pasted him and it being his first season in the 1st team......BWP not far behind, 21 goals take them away and we would be in the playoffs.

Rhoys Wiggins, surprised looking through the thread it seems that I'm the only one who thinks Rhoys has been the best !
I agree, thought Rhoys would be getting more votes. Anyway he's got mine.

i thought rhoys would be fancied a bit more, may be not as good a defender as solly but a much bigger threat going forward
i think it's cos of his recent moody hair cut that he's not getting a look in0 -
In terms of performance alone I think Solly is outstanding.
In terms of contribution to the overall season and our position in the table I think it is hard to look beyond Kermit.0 -
Nice to have this problem. Makes a change from the last few seasons. For me Solly, Yann, Morro, Hollands, BWP, Wiggy, Taylor. However wins should dedicate it to his team mates though as in my opinion they all deserve it.0

So difficult to choose this season but between Yann and Solly for me. As people have said, very difficult to eliminate Wiggins and Holland (or even Jacko if he had not been injured). What a great dilemma to have.0

Solly has had an amazing season and has been extremely consistent but Yann the man has been to hell and back again for this football club. The way he puts his body on the line, wins virtually every aerial challenge and his sublime technique make him an awesome proposition at this level. Just edges it for me!

from the sheets I saw outside the turnstiles it looks as if it's the expected two way race between Solly and Yann.
Before that match where Solly was injured and Wiggo went to right back I'd have thought Wiggins would've been in with a shout but since that match he's not been at his best.
Might start a thread slagging him off

These are 3 areas of the team that are really a cut above in this division, along with JJ.0 -
I'd say Kermo because he's really the only player that I'd see as not replaceable. The whole team would have to change, because you're not going to find another player at this level with his ability. That said, nobody will be upset to see Solly win the award.0

It's interesting that for the first time in a decade we have a striker who has scored more than twenty goals for us but at the time I gave my POTY vote yesterday (Solly), BWP hadn't had a single vote cast for him. From what I could see, Solly was out in front, followed by Yann. Is this an acknowledgement that the defence has been more important to our season than BWP's 21 goals? And why is Yann's contribution seen as greater?0

The lo fi exit poll (I looked at a couple of the clipboards on the way into the east stand) shows that Chris Solly was a clear winner, with Yann a remote second. You heard it here first ( after covered end, numbers, liberal club and many others).0

Kermogant for me. Solly's been great and would get my 2nd choice but right-backs don't win titles for sides-strikers do.
Without Yann I think we would be a few points off the two Sheffields desperately hoping one comes a cropper late on so we avoid the play-offs.0 -

that's a great question, the defence certainly seems to have been key this season given the number of clean sheets0 -
Timing comes into it I think. Pre Colchester and Notts County Morrison was high on many lists (including mine) but has had a bit of a blip. In short Solly and Yann are perceived to have been more consistent I think than the rest albeit marginally in some cases.0 -
