    Mo and Jess for me. Mo for the sheer superhuman effort it takes to run that far that quickly and Jess for being hot, being the best at all those events and for dealing with the expectation.

    gotta be mo for me with andy murray and jessica ennis close behind for how much it meant to them and how big their achievements were Mo being the first British winner of the 10,000 meters and could do the same with the 5,000 meters in a couple days

    I go for the bloke that won the long jump sandwiched in between Jess and Mo. Nobody including me can remember his name. talk about overshadowed. First winner of that event since Lyn Davies (who is still remembered) and was he pleased if a little overlooked.

    So difficult to choose. Don't forget the gymnasts -they did brilliantly and ahead of expectations, even if it wasn't gold.

    Ali Brownlee. Not only did he dominate the triathlon, he took a risk in going out all guns blazing in the first lap of the run to try and get his brother, 15 seconds ahead of 4th place. This could've backfired on him. Shows good heart that.

    I also thought Laura Trott and the athletic medals on Super Saturday were all brilliant.

    Felixs Sanchez' medal ceremony was the most moving.

    His great-grandfather was one of the great British footballers of Edwardian times.

    Jock Rutherford, a right-winger known as "the Newcastle flyer," won three championship titles and appeared in five FA Cup finals for Newcastle United. He won 11 caps for England and played for Arsenal at the age of 41, which remains a club record.
