In terms of cartoons I'd go for Homer or Peter Griffin(Family Guy)

From sitcoms I still think Alan Partridge stands out - haven't seen the film but the early tv shows have it all. Epitomise everything naff and desperate about tv and radio presenters.

    Brent/Millman/Derek - Some people don't get it but I think it's the cringeworthy truth of those creations that make me laugh. Not too keen on his standup I must say.

    Cartoon character? Dangermouse or Mr Ben, dead heat, oh and Roadrunner.

    Gotta be Del Boy or Alan Partridge.

    Looking across the pond then I think Brian out of Family Guy is quality. BUT, Barney out of How I Met Your Mother just edges it. The father out of Fraiser was pretty good too.

    Ah shit, just seen Calydon Road suggest Lister from Red Dwarf.. That didn't even cross my mind!
