Agreed. South Park is the best cartoon out there.JiMMy 85 said:Randy Marsh is brilliant. A much more on-the-nose stupid dad routine than Homer Simpson.

Del Boy is for me the greatest comedy character, and arguably one of the greatest TV characters altogether the UK has ever had. David Brent is the funniest of the modern era.
Surprised nobody has mentioned any of the lads from the Inbetweeners!

Before Del Boy there was this...

Had either Fawlty Towers or OFaH been on commercial television, there would have only been one series - viewing figures and critical reception were not good...BIG_ROB said:

For anyone wanting to see what all my fuss is about I suggest you start with "where's that Fire" a comedy masterpiece.

I'm not content with picking one, so I've gone for sub categories. Still cant believe that I've got none in from Phoenix Nights, Flight of the Conchords, Smoking Room, Dear John, Father Ted, League of Gentlemen... Oh well, it'll probably change tomorrow.0

Basil Fawlty and (of course) Manuel0

Stig - is Come Fly With Me a sketch show?

In my eyes it is because each of the characters all live in their own little words (albeit all in Stansted Airport). I don't remember ever seeing any crossover between the characters in different sections of the programme.0

Perhaps it belongs in a category all of it's own?Stig said:In my eyes it is because each of the characters all live in their own little words (albeit all in Stansted Airport). I don't remember ever seeing any crossover between the characters in different sections of the programme.
