    perhaps we can ask them to defer payment for a year and then next July when payment is due we can sell him on to Brentford to pay off Evian. Or next July sell one of our other stars to pay for it. Ooops, forgot, they'll all be out of contract.

    We will not get that for Dale, a player who can't break into a midtable Championship side!
    I Didn't realise we had let him go to a mid table championship side, thats a step up for him anyway ;)

    What's that based on? Have you seen him play?

    I trust Powell will make the right call...I hope the guy is good enough we need a (decent) holding midfielder.

    Problem is (as jokes are often made about height) this league suits players standard in the aerial battle. Looks like he has a nice low sense of gravity.

    How many games had Semedo played in the French Top division? How many games had he played at any level when we signed him?

    Amdy Faye cost two million and he was basically an inferior version of Semedo.

    What Eric did before he got to us or how much people have or haven't paid for him is irrelevant, if Powell fancies him and signs him all that'll matter is how he does for us. Until then we'll just have to trust Powell's judgement.
