Thing is it doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother you. Football is corrupt from top to bottom.It's full of gangsters,failed businessmen,dictators,oligarchs,agents,property salesman....the list goes on.Not one of them are really interested in football.
The days of fluffy little football clubs owned by fluffy little football people were stamped out years ago I'm afraid.

Good point, many owners start off sensible and then get caught up in the bubble and lose track of how they got into the big time in the first place.

I have noticed Parrish has become a real rent-a-quote merchant in recent months - I appreciate they are in the Premiership now - but to my mind owners should stay out of the media unless it is critical for them to comment.

Can we also do a running commentary on fans who don't attend each and every home game and slag them off for their lack of loyalty?

Has Jiminez actually said anything yet, or been quoted as having said something about Charlton since the takeover? His silence is quite remarkable.

People can bang on about how they want to hear from them directly and how they sacked this person and that person and all the rest of it, but at the end of the day this board has so far done a brilliant job of bringing stability from a managerial perspective with Chris Powell's appointment, and lifted us a division. I've really enjoyed the past two seasons as a result of the board's decisions.

If people want to get their knickers in a twist about numbers on books and "what ifs", then fine. Personally, I can only give opinion on what I see on the pitch - and it has been extremely positive on the whole.
