LOL this is clearly a corker of a track - Surrey now 60-9 ;-)

Mind you Surrey can't be that strong with Meaker batting at 5.

Can never understand these matches. Playing 12 a side - fair enough as they do this at all age groups and one of the bowlers doesn't bat. But the Kent player, Shaun Piesley, appears to be keeping for Surrey!

Surrey 114 A O. Last stand put on 56 - just two short of the other 9 wickets put together. Freddie Van Den Bergh from Bickley top scores for Surrey with 37 N O.

In reply we are 27-2 with Cowdrey and Ball back in the hutch. Not a good game for those two - they managed just 10 between them in total in the match.

    Thanks for the updates, AA

Sounds as though the pitch improved with age ?

I think so Fanny especially as Surrey are 126-1 in their 2nd innings - and that was a run out!

  • Shouldn't be surprised about the partnership for 6th wicket, Roy and Wilson have been form batsman last few weeks for the Rey

At least that's stop Meaker getting all 10 wickets ;-(

    229-6 at the close.

A lead of 239. on that ground we need to be in a position to set an absolute minimum of 300 to have any hope of avoiding defeat.
