  • The tail wags :-)

285-9 and a 50 partnership for the final wicket. Claydon (62* off 72 balls) and Riley (16* off 51).

    Lead of 68 so far.
  • Thanks for your vote of confidence, AA but TBH ( NOT Tal Ben Haim !) I think Kent perform best when I keep well away....
  • excellent wagging of the tail sees Kent all out for 302.
  • I see what you mean Fanny. Within a nanosecond of you posting we are all out ;-(

302 for a last wicket stand of 67. Claydon with a superb 77 off 91 balls and Riley 16*.

Healthy lead of 85 which didn't look likely at 94-5.

Tis true Fanny - Charltons fall down the leagues coincided with me no longer being able to have a lucky cigarette at the first corner after 75 minutes. That is FACT !!!

So it's all YOUR fault, MOL !!

Kent rarely win when we go these days.

    I'll rephrase that....

Kent rarely win these days !

  • I'll make you eat your words Fanny!!!

14-1 as Stevens strikes so Leics minus 71-1.
  • 50-3 at tea

    Match delayed by rain.

    JA Porter.
    Fast bowler just turned 21

Played for Mcc young cricketers for three years but couldn't get a county contract so was working for a recruitment company. Essex asked him to help out on an expenses only basis the other month as had injuries so he drove down to Gloucester day after his 21st birthday and played last four or five games for 2nd XI. Got ten wickets last week against Sussex. Has wintered in Australia twice, once with Darren Lehman academy and the other as paid player in Melbourne.

144-4 and a lead of 59. One to Claydon.

187-5 and a lead of 102. One to Hartley.

Wouldn't want, for the sake of the old ticker, to be chasing 200 plus!
  • 197-5 at lunch.

Lead 112 now. This game is running away from us. With the walking wicket Northeast in the side I wouldn't want to chase much more than 150 in a fourth innings.
  • 197-5 at lunch. Lead of 112 runs.
  • 234-5

    lead 149 now.

A Kent win looks unlikely now :-(
  • Maybe Fanny can put the mockers on leics' by saying how well they are playing

    My lips are sealed !

  • 315-5 a lead of 230.

    Start talking Fanny.

Josh Cobb really deserves an England call up that sort of thing!
  • 345-6. 3rd wicket to Stevens. Lead of 260 ;-(

What the hell have you got against the bloke? Its just constant digs from you against Sam, when lets be honest many others have not performed for Kent either this season.

Sam has had a terrible season so far and got rightly dropped. He went away and scored 3 hundreds and a 93 in 4 innings so has arguably played himself back into the side. Give the bloke a break and lets hope those runs in the seconds can see him find the talent he undoubtedly has.
