When everyone writes him off is when he goes and shuts everyone up. Could be worth a few quid on him to score on Tuesday.

  • Jackson still has loads to offer this team. Anytime a thread like this comes up he seems to pop up with an important goal and prove everyone wrong.

Not quite sure how that got past the keeper on the feed I was watching but I'll take it. Back up to 7th.

He's bloody rubbish, he was meant to be 10 yards in front of where he was when he scored that goal... Too slow ;-)

  • had a great game (watched on stream). Worth noting he played as part of a midfield 3 though! definitely at his best when he has a bit more cover.

It's 'checker' not 'chequer'. Stop digging Stig, the hole is deep enough already:-)

In which case, let's have more 'Jacko is past it' threads and by Easter we will be in the Prem with Jacko top goalscorer!!!

Au contraire. The criticisms are still valid. The question for the manager to decide upon is whether the positives, such as tonight's goal, outweigh the negatives. Obviously Bob thinks they do or he wouldn't keep playing Jacko. However, Bob's not slow in subbing him when he can see he's not contributing enough, as happened on Saturday.
