  • Also, whole families go. I'll happily take my kids I a game v Charlton but would think twice about a game v west ham.

And the reason is cos compared to a normal fixture you know that West Ham will be turning up with a large scum element
We have the same problem when your lot are in town , hence our shit crowds for this fixture , people just don't want the chance of agg or a few helms piping up in the home end

    Brace yourselves for whinging spanners.
  • Two points off Birmingham and Wigan on 2nd bottom. Blackpool are dead and buried. No doubt they will have a revival at The Valley though.

They go on sale Monday mate.
They will sell out on Monday, they will be camping over night to get tickets for their cup final.
We usually always sell out for London games. We sold out the 4000 Fulham gave us and most of the neutral area. We'll sell out brentford later in the season too. We sell out at the likes of orient. Oh, and dagenham in the cup a few years ago.

Your cup final is a two legged event, your highest leagues attendance in recent years has been against us.
This is indeed the case but as I've stated before I think this is down to the fact that so many Millwall and Charlton share friend and family connections. (Browsing the 'how did you get into Charlton' thread proves this) Local People who hardly go to Millwall come out for this one as they want to get one over friends and relatives.
Also, whole families go. I'll happily take my kids I a game v Charlton but would think twice about a game v west ham. Also, they go on general sale v Charlton. West ham is members and ST holders only.
I'm not saying you mean nothing to us, obviously you do, you're our nearest geographical rivals. But to our genuine and regular support the likes of west ham, palace and even Leeds would be seen as a much bigger occasion.
Currently on Millwall online we have two threads running about our youth cup game v west ham on the 24th of November. There isn't one about the Charlton game yet.
Palace haha...I don't know a single millwall fan who gives a toss about Palace

You all show up at the new den always your biggest crowd Vs us, yes friends get together etc but still, always banged out Vs us.
Your fans are discussing a youth match V West ham cos it makes you sound double 'ard that you might turn up at Upton park mob handed, truth is there'll be hardly any of you showing up and the game will end with no incident, just hundreds of teenagers talking about it via twitter etc for image.
  • Red Card was not overturned so Wilkinson will be missing for the game against us

and on this Friday Morning if you need a laugh to get you through the day waiting for the weekend, look no further than North Stand Banter and the Andy Wilkinson thread.

    some of my favourites:
    1=Stands.
Fucking joke the FA have got this wrong.
Or maybe it's right because he plays for us.
    Diabolical Liberty

2=The FA are conspiring against us

3=The FA will do anything to f*** us over. (Removed the swear word)

Your illiterate, ill thought out rants are far funnier.

    Also, you're obsessed.

    Err, you sure it's paulie's who's illiterate ?

    " You're Illiterate " please !

    :-)

Think he was right with 'your'. Read it again.
Only just seen this and want to apologise for my illiteracy. Mea culpa.

The thing is, the punctuation on here sometimes leaves a lot to be desired so I guessed the poster meant " You're illiterate; ill thought out rants are far funnier".

Guess it's a simple case of "Eats shoots & leaves ".

Really?? Well I know hundreds of Millwall. Obviously the vast majority would class west ham as their most hated but a fair few hold palace in almost as much disgust just for their general c**tishness alone. We have a thread that's been running on Millwall online for about 6 years, called the Nigel thread, where people can post amusing pictures of the freaks. It's still going strong.

I think millwallfan has succeeded in turning this into a millwall thread, a debate on who's more c***ish
  • Maybe old school but I hate the new cross pussies with a vengeance due to previous encounters over the years but always look forward to our games. Nigel's are just an annoyance.
  • Just a few things I've noted from this thread which confuses me.....

    1. A fan from another team taking out the time to actually set up an account to put their two cents in on another club's forum.....

    2. Milwall fans actually giving grammar advice.......

    3. And as for Milwall suddenly "selling out" for London games......thugs crawling out the woodwork anyone??

    Ridiculous!!

Got to be honest, I'm more excited to see Igor V. Shittu.

I wanna see Jack Munns against Big Danny, that'd make him shittu himself.

Igor said he hadn't been fully fit since the Rotherham game, at Bromley supporters meet on the 30 oct.

So if in 2 weeks time we can get an hour at least from him, then so be it.

Danny Haynes putting up the white flag against Shittu at the valley 2 years ago still leaves a bad taste.
thou i gave him a get out of jail card then by saying he was feeling his hamstring.(never a bad guess for Danny)

Yann getting injured at Reading the week before, and missing last seasons match at the valley.

    No More excuses.

November the 22nd, The day i want CAFC to be a proper Football team.

    No More excuses.

If it's a cup final for Millwall, then it should be the same for us.

Our cup final should be a proper cup final not a league game against a two bob club from down the road.

Small always make me laugh trying to deny how much this fixture means to them. Your attendances VS us tell me everything I need to know about how much you "don't care" about Charlton.

I explained in a previous post about the attendances.
answer me one question. Why would we lie? We don't try to pretend west ham don't mean anything to is. Why would we?
Anyway, didn't say you don't mean anything to us, just no where near as much as west ham and to a lot, palace too. And some, Leeds.
And no where near as much hatred for you as you have for us. Not even close.

Teams tend to sell the highest amount of tickets during the season when they play there biggest rival. In your case that's Charlton.

Leeds wasn't a sell out home or away for your lot so that's a load of rubbish.

Palace being a rival for you must be a joke? Plenty work collegues of mine who follow millwall don't have any care for Palace.

I know you love this forum and post a lot here but seriously try to see it for what it actually is... Your biggest game this season.

Millwall fans are so fricking boring. Ok you're all hard as nails and hate all the other hard as nails teams (yeah whatever, it's a 'who looks better in a flatcap' thing really but we'll let you have it)

You don't care about us, no-one like you, the FA are conspiring against you, you sing loads at home games, yeah yeah yeah

I for one cannot wait until we smash you to pieces in two weeks and then all your scummy fans try and start fights with any and everyone afterwards

It will prove once and for all that you are all hunts and we are epic

On a separate note, do you not think it's a bit ironic a Charlton fan calling Millwall 'small'

I mean even when you went all Those games unbeaten you was still only getting 15k at home. Hardly makes you a big club. And that's with giving away thousands of tickets to locals, shipping yokels in from the sticks with subsidised travel and selling a big chunk of season tickets for £150. You're at the top end of the table but your away support is almost on par with ours. And every time there was a drop of rain last season you had to postpone the game. But you call us small??
Personally, I couldn't give a monkeys about crowd/club sizes. If anything I respect the people who support the smaller clubs a lot more than those who choose a so called bigger club but that's just me.

Thousands of tickets? Please get your facts straight.

We our clearly big enough for you to spend all your spare time here.

Postpone a game for rain? WTF?

Look at the average away followings this season, didn't notice your teams name above ours?

Last time your mob were in the premiership?

I forgot though, you don't care about Charlton. They say jealously brings out the strangest things in people.

Charlton are bigger than Millwall. Our ground is bigger, Our support is bigger, our centre backs are bigger

As we are bigger this by default makes you smaller hence the 'small' part

It's a fact you give out thousands of free tickets a season.

The rain, don't you remember last season, your pitch was so piss poor whenever there was a bit of rain you had to postpone. Hardly the sign of a big club.

Yes, my mistake, on average so far this season you get a couple of hundred more away than us. But, baring in mind you're the top end of the table and we've been struggling, and you get an extra few thousand on average at home that's a bit shit isn't it.

And you're right, we haven't been in the top flight for a while. If we'd spent as much there as you lot have in recent history then I'm sure our home crowds would be nearer the size of yours.

My point is, yeah, you're bigger than us, but not massively. You're hardly in the position to call other clubs small. I mean, you're hardly in Man U or arsenals league, or even the likes of west ham. Not even close. Makes you sound a bit delusional criticising a club for being small.

Oh, and I'll say it again, for the hard of thinking. I never said we didn't care about Charlton.

We had more at home to Leeds this season than we did v Charlton last time we played at the Den. And when you bare in mind that Leeds wasn't given the bottom tier, where as Charlton was, this is an extra 1500 fans that will always be on the attendance v Charlton as the likes of west ham, Leeds and even palace, won't get the bottom tier.

Games against charlton are our biggest games where there aren't restrictions in place.

There's a few games where we sell out or almost sell out the home ends. But charlton is the only one out of those who get the bottom tier too, so that extra 1500 usually gets the attendance to around the 18k.

    Get it?
