He's always a pain in the arse to play against. If he's fit, I'd expect Forest will want to keep him.

He's a big guy from what I remember. If he wins headers and frees up space for Igor it'll be a good signing

Exactly what we need in that respect.

Being past his best has got nothing to do with his age and more to do with the serious knee injury that kept him out for a year. He is not as good a player as he was but is still a better bet than Pigott, Church and Tucudean.

To be fair, most players can do that.

Strange video. It almost seemed like QPR put balls into the box for the strikers to put in the net. Madness. It'll never catch on.

Why they can't scuff them 1 foot off the ground to the nearest oppo defender in the box like we have been doing for years I do not know, tsk!

Charlton scout in the crowd at the priestfield watching Matt smith who acored4 for Bristol city. Gutted as his valuation from Fulham will no doubt go up. I was there with a pal of mine who was scouting for notts county.

I think we've seen with all the transfers that take longer than expected, that RD is paying a lot of attention to how much he pays, and won't bring them in until he hears the right price. So I doubt we'd pay the guy 18k pw a week. Best way to explain why RD's moves take so long

Suggested him in August and got shot down on here. He'd be perfect. When does his loan expire? What proportion of his wages are Bristol City paying?

Well big bob was there in person to wAtch him. Can't believe he's not starting for Fulham.
  • Thought we should have gone after him when he left Leeds.

Think James Hanson of Bradford could be worth a look too

    Matt Smith would be good.

Odds of us getting him are slim.

  • victor valdes to united as back up to de gea...if he is going to take as long to adapt to english game as de gea then i see no point in signing him.

Not sure if it was a case of De Gea adapting to the English game, more a young keeper still learning and Utd sticking by him and investing time in coaching. I'm sure Valdes would be fine, he's certainly experienced enough as a backup.
