Not sure Thomas would offer any more than Bulot or Harriot (or Cousins for that matter). Better off getting someone young and hungry rather than someone old and lazy

    Fair point.

Seeing that the other thread has been taken over by aliens...

Lewis Baker has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan from Chelsea... to be honest not a bad deal, he had a good summer with the U17s alongside Joe Gomez

Jack Barmby has joined Rotherham United on loan from Leicester City
  • Luis Suárez could be coming back to the Premier League. Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are “monitoring” the Uruguayan…De Gea going the other way and Tim Krul going to Utd.
  • This content has been removed.
  • Considering Barce can't sign any players for a year I doubt they'll be selling too many players off

Has he fell out with Messi or something? I know being reported doesn't mean it will happen but I can't understand any logic to this. Especially as they have a transfer embargo so can't replace him.

Reuben Loftus-Cheek set to sign for Charlton Athletic on loan for the remainder of the season
  • I had to google that one to see if it was even a real name.

6 in 10 for the England U19s suggest he is pretty decent.

For the name alone, it's a 'yes' from me.

Had to check he was actually a real person. Turns out he is. 'After his first-team debut, Barney Ronay of The Guardian described Loftus-Cheek as an "intriguing" player of "long-striding grace". He said that his "shielding, covering, deep-playmaking presence with a calmness in possession and a naturally telescopic reach" would also be needed by the senior England national team.'

Morrison has been thanked, it was on the OS.

"Once again, the club would like to place on record its thanks to Michael for his service to Charlton as a player and ambassador during his stay in south-east London."

...but that is clearly not enough !
  • Is an 18 year old really going to turn around our piss poor midfield ? What's the point

This guy is HUGELY thought of, I doubt it has any substance at all but he'd have no problem in the Championship, he tears it up in UEFA Youth CL, albeit with a better team around him but he's absolute quality.

The first year for Chelsea he banked 1.7m for himself, at the age of 17...

    C'mon...

It's just a ruse by the club shop ain't it?

Just to sell letters for players names on replica kit. At least they can break open that box of hyphens gathering dust in the stock room now.

    Class name.
  • he is built like a 21 year old and from the little i have seen in the CL with Chelsea he looked decent and Jose really likes him.
  • Meant to be seriously highly rated.

I look forward to hearing what you come back with Greenie!

As usual those of you who know better have changed my initial thoughts.

Dunno an 18-year old Midfielder broke into our first team this time last year and won Player of the Year ;)
  • would he have started for us or would we have bunged him in the U-21 development squad for the rest of the season? I mean if he's been scouted by the Network he must be shit.

  • Loftus Creek (not to be confused with Loftus Road) .. a stream in British Columbia, Canada .. we do NOT want anymore callow mightbes or to act as a proving ground for bigger clubs' wannabes .. we need an experienced midfielder not a promising kid
