Millwall had an offer accepted for Ben Pringle on Tuesday for £175,000 but it looks like he hasn't accepted personal terms.

We should jump in and get him, tidy footballer.

Bargain for him. Surely RD can afford that.

    Bit too casual for me

    He's a crisp passer though.

My Friday is pretty much down hill from here.

Pringles an excellent player. Cant believe Rotherham would sell him for anything pess than 800k.

Would be more than adequate at left back or left midfield. Yes please Roland.

ben pringle would be exactly what we lack in central midfield - some one that can make things happen. £175k for him is an utter steal. I'm guessing his contract is expiring end of the season and he won't sign if rotherham will let him go for that.

Pringle is extremely highly rated and I would not be impressed with him going to Millwall for a pittance

Pringle looks a very decent player on video - particularly like the way he always seems to get in the right positions and not afraid to shoot>

He seems to have determination and drive running with the ball, attacking the soft underbelly of CBs.

Sign him up before Ollie does - and don't let Pardew watch that video.

  • Lloyd Dyer, Lewis McGugan and Ben Pringle all been made available for transfer and I'd guess aren't commanding too much money in the way of a transfer fee. If we aren't going for at least one of these players then someone needs to have a serious word with katrien IMO

It probably won't be up to Katrien. After all, it's not her money.

agree with this .. not very big but the heart of a lion, a real 100%er .. I watch Rotherham regularly and have yet to see Pringle have a bad game .. he can tackle, cross, dribble, he can do the lot, even though he's small he is not too bad in the air .. BUT.. I just cannot see the CAFC powers that be signing him .. he's neither a networker nor a foreigner

Looked good against us earlier this season. Would be a great signing! Hopefully the Charlton Life scouting system has an influence over transfers

But who is it up to?

Sure that Phil Chapple will have a view on each player but not his choice.

Bob might have a view but not his choice.

Katrien is the CEO so not her choice.

So who picks the players we sign?
  • Wanted us to take a look at Pringle in the summer, would be a good signing for Millwall.

Exactly, I went for katrien as she's middle ground between bob and RD

Can't see us signing Pringle as it makes too much sense.

Would love to see him here though, could solve a few problems we have. Good age too and for the rumoured price is well worth.

Alex Revell has just signed for Cardiff from Rotherham .. if Pringle goes, that will mean that Evans has sold his two best forwards .. sell two to sign four .. sad times at the New York stadium

The "scouting network", obviously. That's what they're paid to do. There'll be some input from Peeters too, he knows best what we need.

But there's only one person who signs the cheques.

agree with both of these sentiments .. a small club, nice new but small stadium .. depend on loaned players and shrewd signings .. Evans's magic is seriously diluted in the higher division .. but we will see who he can bring in .. they're at the Valley very soon

This is the most random thing I've heard in awhile. We wouldn't dare consider getting rid of the man we are trying to find a partner for. And agree his name is idiotic. Probably just said all this to get a rouse out of us
